He said that there was no reason not to take action against the first-term MP, pointing out that the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) had charged former Perlis Mufti Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin for preaching without any accreditation in the state.
“The Selangor Islamic Religious Council must charge the Serdang MP for desecrating the Al-Huda Surau,” Ibrahim told The Malaysian Insider via short text message (SMS).
The Pasir Mas MP added that the failure to take act was an affront to Selangor ruler, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah who reportedly was upset over the incident.
He also attempted to draw an analogy between Nation of Islam preacher Malcom X, who was gunned down at Manhattan Audubon Ballroom by three Black Muslims in 1965 and Teo’s surau visit which has been highlighted by Umno-owned Utusan Malaysia last Friday.
“In America, Islamic preacher Malcom X, who preached to Christians and entered their churches was shot dead but in Selangor an “unclean DAP politician” was dragged into the surau’s prayer room,” said Ibrahim.
He pointed out that those who invited her were PAS and PKR members who are Muslims and she had delivered a Ramadan ceramah to a Muslim congregation.
“The question is whether Allah is teaching us a lesson, for us to ponder together on the reality that PAS is selling out Islam in Malaysia for its political survival in this holy month of Ramadan,” said the leader of the Malay rights movement.
He reiterated that God’s house was desecrated and the incident was sanctioned by PAS for the sake of votes.
“This is the work of Satan who has succeeded in confusing those who claim to be religious but does not follow Islam.” Ibrahim said.
Despite saying she would apologise to the Selangor ruler and explaining what actually happened, Teo and the DAP is taking fire from the likes of Ibrahim, Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin and Umno Wanita chief Datuk Seri Sharizat Abdul Jalil.
Khairy who described Teo as extremely naïve said her apology was an afterthought, while Sharizat said she had acted in a way that was unbecoming.
The first term MP had expressed dismay that the surau visit in her constituency has been turned into a controversy.

Like any other good Malaysia, Teo was asked to say a few words for her contribution to the surau during Ramadhan. These are probably very sincere hard working folks who follow adat tertib of what we learnt during our younger days living in harmony in their kampongs.
We used to have open house during our festivals,and made sure that our Muslim visitors were treated to Halal food, and used to ask the people in the mosque to ensure the meat was slaughtered the proper way. Likewise, our Muslim fellows ensured we did not eat beef, as it was against our religion to do so.
This issue is being highlighted to show how low BN/UMNO/Perkasa can stoop to ensure their political survival.
In our prayers, we normally mention the names of our leaders to ensure the country prosperity. This is also being exploited by so called Muslims.
I wonder why Ibrahim did not raise the issue of PAS Khalid visiting the Carlsbery factory?

Surau committe did nothing wrong to invite their MP to the surau and Teo Nie Ching did nothing wrong to accept the invitation to visit the surau. In fact, any good man will laud their action that foster better understanding between muslims and non muslims.

I am all in favour to have our country united. I am sure you are, too. So let's encourage this goal.
