KOTA KINABALU: Financial aid is being distributed to children of non-citizens in Sabah and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) wants to know if this has become a government policy.

PKR Supreme Council Member, Ansari Abdullah said, the party had evidence that children of non-Malaysians were receiving financial assistance meant for Malaysian students from poor families in Sabah.

He said the pupils received between RM450 and RM600 annually through the Kumpulan Wang Amanah Pelajar Miskin (KWAPM).

Ansari distributed copies of the documents to the media during a press conference here yesterday to support his allegation. They comprised copies of the pupils' birth certificates and pages of their bank books that had been sent to Sabah PKR communication director Ronnie Klassen earlier.

Describing it as a shocking discovery, Ansari said the documents confirmed the suspicions of many Sabahans that the government is supporting the children of non-Malaysians and stateless people in Sabah.

Dear Anwar,

Since you most probably help put Sabah and Sarawak into this shit-hole you should be smart enough to pull them out of it. Hey, you and all the Pakatan leaders please use your thinking caps and help your members who are WAGING A LOOSING WAR!!!

They are being OUTNUMBERED by illegal means.
Anwar, if you are a responsible person you should do something to redeem your past foolish act.

I am your supporter but in this case I am ashamed at what evils you help unleash on our East Malaysians brethren.Even though that was done in the past but the people are reaping the sufferings till today.

Once again, I state that I am bemused by many who posted here.

How can there be an immediate solution to our legalized migrant problem in Sabah?
The majority voters have been instructed to, and will vote UMNO as they owe their citizenships to them. How can the PKR become the State government when genuine Sabahans’ voters are simply overwhelmed by legalized voters?
We find ourselves in a catch 22 situation! In order to rectify Sabah’s legalized migrant problem, we need to put in an opposition Government. But in order for the opposition government to come into power, they first have to be voted into office. So, how to obtain the first without the second solution?

We can’t expect mamakthir to confess for committing this act of treason, but Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim, as DPM at that time, should know what transpire in “Project IC”. He was UMNO to the hilt at that material time and live, eat, sleep, and talk UMNO. If he had nothing to do with “Project IC”, then he should speak up and reveal facts and, perhaps, to put things right.

As he is remaining rather mum on the issue, he must have played a big part in “Project IC” and possibly is the mastermind behind that act of treason as he had vowed to and did succeed to take away Sabahan’s voting power.

As a matter of fact, I get the impression that DSAI is tackling Sabah rather half heartedly and this indicate to me that he knows, more than anybody else, the enormity and impossibility of winning Sabah for the PKR as he had done such a good job, back when he was the DPM, in ensuring that Sabah, since 1994, will never ever break away from the BN again in the foreseeable future.

For what it's worth, it will be the future generation of all Sabahans (original & results of project IC) to find it in their heart to love Sabah enough and have the desire to chart their own destiny without being automated from Putrajaya as it is being done now.
The other possibility is, Sabahans might indeed be granted a referendum by the world court to vote either to stay on in this Malaysia, or revert back to the Sultan of Sulu.
A single peso to guess where the majority vote might most possibly go to?smilies/grin.gif

Dear everyone, it is a well-known fact the govt under RACIST Mamak want to increase his voting base, so they issue ICs to all the Malays, then they forbid Malays to convert, then they divide to bumi and non-bumi and practise racial discrimination to keep the Malays happy and loyal. That is why they kick out S'pore with overwhelming Chinese electorate. That is why the govt consider Sabah and Sarawak their fixed deposit sure to give them returns yearly. Because they sideline their own natives but give benefits to the Indon Malays just for their power base until today the Indon population overtakes the locals. When the people protests they form battalions to rush there to throw out the Indons for SHOW only but they COVERTLY at the back treat them as Malaysians. They have betrayed the natives as well as all the other races by doing what they did and this is only one of the evils of this regime.

The issue of compassion treatment for the children is another matter altogether, maybe a human rights isuue. But the govt is to be blamed for all these social issues because if they had not practised racism and discrimination this social problems would not be happening.
That is why so hard for the East Malaysians to overcome this problem unless Pakatan takes over the govt and stop the secret recruitment of illegals.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong?

Namun apa yang saya katakan tidak semua setuju, and i am confident that govt are wise enough to do like that. I still believe that govt will always take good care of Sabahans... Hopefully all these accusation not connected to our govt!

I have my fair share of debating this issue before. Frankly speaking, there is a dilemma here. From the political point of view and humanity point of view.

Yes, from the political point of view, it is indeed unfair to the local people, who paid taxes and contributed to the country. But the kids of these illegal immigrants are the recipients of what should be the privileges of the citizens and bumiputra's. Their parents came here illegally through the backdoor, unable to find jobs, many robs and steals. Increasing the crime rate and endangering the safety of the people.

However, if we look at it at a different angle. We can see that these children are in fact, stateless, they don't belong anywhere. Not where their parents came from, because they are born here and not there. Even if we shipped them back, their government would not acknowledge them as citizens.

There is not much we can do with these stateless children. We can send them back, but we cannot keep them there, sooner or later, some of them will slip in again. And then what? They continue to live here, and grew up to become criminals, because of their lack of education and lack of proper documentations.

But if we gave them a chance of education, who knows, they would have decent jobs, become professionals and in turn, contribute to the country rather than causing disturbance. No good will come to any of us if we shunned them. Perhaps in the future, they are the ones filling the post as doctors in the local hospitals, while most of the local citizens prefer to pursue their careers overseas?

But then again, this might encourage more illegal immigrants coming over. Yes, a dilemma indeed.

Actually, I do not have the solution for this problem. Just expressing my views.

Jangan ingat bila mereka ini mendapat pendidikan kepala tidak pandai besar ka? kalau betul2 mau tolong, antar mereka balik and make sure they'll never came back again. Don't ask govt to give any fund to this stateless kids, but ask their govt to do that.... and yess, the school for them to be built and again the cost for it come from their govt, from Indonesia i guess. yup, and please people we are now in our way to free from PTis... I am not against to give this PTIs an education but please think wise la...why should we wasting our money to do that? while we still need to develop our own people especially in a rural area. Why not we give that money buat jalan raya ka? buat banggunan tinggi2 ka? buat sekolah ka? lagipun masalah karen, air belum lagi selesai...

emm mereka2 ini diletakkan di rumah merah before sent them back to their country kan, naaa give them an education their la... nanti bila mereka ini sudah sampai di negara mereka then they will never dare to came back....emmm you can try.....

Rainbow and tompios....

yeah brother, dont we all know sabah better than the rest, after all we are eating sleeping and breathing here....

And the process of giving previleges to the foreigners ESPECIALLY THE MOSLEM PILAKS from the polipines, mostly the descendants of TAUSUGs, IRRANUNs and BOLONGINGIs whose culture are that of raiding and slaving pirates, WAS ACCELERATED when PBS pullout of Barisan to join Semangat KULI....

And ANWAR himself came to Sabah to campaign and said..

KITA AKAN RRRRRROOBOH rumah PBS and surely assisted in the pilaks to settle in Sabah to be BN voters... AND 100 PERCENT of them are MOSLEMs.

HEY>>.. nearly 50 of Sabah YBs are descendants of the pirate cultures, just take a look at the list of YBs..
the rest are KDM and chinese.

and they already have doctors cum YBs long time ago in Sabah

So we are already colonised by the descendants of the Pirates from the polipin for a long time now.

AND ALL OF THEM ARE IN UMNO enjoying the benefits after helping UMNO set foot in Sabah.

That also explain that nearly 90percent of the public service is now controlled by moslems while the local non moslems are HIGHLY discriminated from all post in govt and GLCs...

A doctor friend who is currently serving at the LIKAS Hospital branch of QE hospital KK informs me that nearly 70 of those women giving birth their for cheap or free medic service are from the polipin community....

So the Philipines is really running Sabah now.. why need for Aroyo to continue its claim on Sabah when in some ways, they already control the state courtesy of Mamakutty and his ex cronies from semenanjung???

My dear Better My,

Rest assured I do come in here often enough to have noticed that you mentioned me at least a couple times seeking my opinion on Sabah’s affairs.
No my young Malaysian, I don’t have very much further to comment as I believe you, and many West Malaysians in MT have a much better grasp of the enormous problems besetting East Malaysia.

The government has been giving out financial aids to legalized (they are legalized and not illegal anymore)migrants and their children since the 90s. Many of the children of these legalized migrants, through the grace of our “benevolent “ Federal government, have become Doctors, Government servants, Engineers, and other well respected professions. I know that for a fact because I have a few working for and under me.

ctiyn got a good point there. The Federal government made it possible for many more new migrants to stay in Sabah, many illegally, and the children who were born & grew up here in Sabah know no other home but Sabah. So, do we simply put these Sabah born children (who are young adults by now) on a boat and send them off to wherever their parents came from in the first place? None Sabahan children (those not issued MyKad….yet) have to pay quite a lot of school fees plus other expenses, and as their parents are most general workers, they cannot afford the high cost for education and landed up running wild on the streets.
Starting 3-4 years back, the Federal government started turning all those registered new migrants, who have been staying in Sabah & Labuan under the IMM13 (refugees status document issued by the government), into Permanent Resident by turning these IMM13 into Red MyKad. In another 2-5 years, another huge numbers of migrants will be granted citizenship and become voters too. Their numbers will then swell to over 3 millions and I am sure anyone can guess what the result will be with all those new voters. By then, we Sabahan voters will become even more insignificant as we will be outnumbered more than 3 to 1 at the ballot box.

As for this post/article, I am much bemused that so many West Malaysian in MT are reacting with shock at what the PKR are only now reporting which is old news to us Sabahans. A very sad fact of life and our reality since the 80s onwards but which is like “breaking news” to West Malaysians.
It just goes to show how very little West Malaysians really know about us for over 46 years since we joined the federation to form this country called M*A*L*A*Y*S*I*A.

For more insight into what really took place, and who were involved in “Project IC” (we all think mamakthir was the mastermind, or so we presumed), perhaps someone close to D.S Anwar Ibrahim (yah, the same great Anwar Ibrahim in PKR now) should ask him to explain and shed more light into that act of treason.
I am sure DSAI knows a lot more than me for he, as the DPM, was the second most powerful man in this Malaysia during that period of our sad history.

As’salamualaikum!

Malaysian men who took foreign women as their spouses while schooling overseas many decades ago and have adult children are still having foreigners as their spouses. Status wise, they used to be temporary residents who had to go to the immigration offices to have their pasports stamped once every six months with a six- month visa . Such hassles could continue for years and years until the officers become "magnanimous" and the visa converted to one that allowed a stay of twelve months (to be renewed periodically , otherwise - - penalty ! ).

Chances of converting such a "periodical" visa to "permanent residential" status was slim and difficult despite "GOOD NEWS" often published in the local medias ! All were false hopes !

From PR status to citizenry .... dream on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Include the IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT as another "RAKYAT UNFRIENDLY" government machinery of citizens' oppression and suppression !!!!!!!!!! This department is also playing havoc with foreign workers approvals to frustrate the needs of the employing rakyats !!!!!!!!!!! It is also playing racial and religious sentiments when selecting the countries where the workers may originate !!!!!!!!!!!!

So we are talking about uncontrolled illegal immigrants, 2 milion figures mentioned by some writers before, with no access to amenities, perhaps encouraged by BN with blind eyes to to swamp/outnumber over the locals to serve BN politcal voting purpose. Hence, the "bribery to these illegals with voting rights, re article above/comments here.

Whichever you see it, it is a pain in the arse for the locals when illegals are used for poltical purpose. It sound to me that these illegals are mainly/only for voting BN purpose Who are going to take care of these people? Most likely, long-term permanent eye-sore run-down huts, occupied by illegals, are seen everywhere. Like in the west, crimes by illegals proliferate under the frightening state of disconnection of the public and the police today, nation-wide eg I hear in KL, illegals(?) stealing air-conditioning units in broad daylights in front of the house owners. IIlegals(?) snatching ladies handbags near ATM, again in daylight.

But how are your strategies in overcoming the illegals bribed/given voting rights by BN? I say, accept those illegals with My card holders/voting rights that the PR team will be better for them and the state.

Put an end to this and correct the current illegal problems by giving the the open alternative PR Federal govenment the mandate to govern, to stop any more illegals and to find solutions to the present My card holder iilegals. These 2 milliom illegals are going to drag East states down unless more economic activities or job opportuntieis are created. PR Federal party has the potential to lift Eastern states as well - if that any consolation

I wonder what do Sabahan Pangkis and Senior Rainbowhorse guys think - they were keen to engage 1-2 weeks ago.

Are you telling your friend to go with you to SABM Mar 13 & Mar 14 roadshow?
