Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he will meet leaders of opposing groups in the MCA to solve the current crisis, preferably before the proposed extraordinary general meeting (EGM)on Nov 28.

He voiced his concern that the MCA crisis was getting worse and what the party had done so far did not give confidence to the people.

On when he will meet the leadership, he said he will find a time and will consider to meet the two groups either together or separately, hopefully before the Nov 28 EGM.

On whether the MCA crisis would affect the Barisan Nasional in rejuvenating itself, Najib said it will hamper the coalition’s efforts.

People are seeing Umno as going through the process of reforming itself and hoped the other component parties would come together themselves as well, he said.

Actually, if we want to find a unity formula, MCA’s leaders’ actions must reflect the desire, added Najib.

More to come

No need to meet the different packs of running dogs.
The appropriate thing for you to do is to don on the robes.of the Taoist Hgh Priest, the Nam Mor Loh. Then get hold of a set of cymbals & a bamboo stalk & chant prayers for the demise of the Make Chinese Angry (MCA) Party.
You should continue to be the Undertaker, the Grave Digger as well as the Burialist.

PM have said that he will intervene only on invitation. What is he trying to do? The MCA president has already decided to reorganise the decision making body. He has done it and so be it. As president he has started his journey of the GUP.

Dissent is part and parcel of democracy. When you have dissent you know that democracy is alive, thriving and well!

The problem with us Malaysians previously, is that we generally do not get involve in politics and especially the well informed, capable, educated and professional.

Often the incapable and unscrupulous are in politics and for the money and prestige. This go a long way to explaining why the country is rule by ignorant, dishonest in incapable people.

The present dissent in MCA is a good and welcome sign: as it heralds a change in MCA and hopefully for the better!

I have a question for Datuk Seri Wong of the Star. You say that the PR parties are in a turmoil. What do you call this circus in the BN and MCA?

If the President of UMNO is to intervene in the internal matters of MCA the perception of the chinese on MCA will be much worse. It shows that a malay can have a say in MCA and its leaders are so useless they can't even solve it's own problems.
