The MACC sold out the whistleblowers and exposed them to risk

On 2nd August 2010, the lawyers for MAS wrote to the MACC to complain about them revealing the identity of the whistleblowers. The MACC refused to investigate the report lodged with them and instead sent the case back to the police (PDRM) -- who had already declared the case NFA -- whereas the report made to the MACC clearly stated that there is collusion between the police and the AG Chambers. This act by the MACC has exposed the whistleblowers to great risk.

TRANSLATION OF THE LETTER BELOW

Re : Report by MAS Against Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli & Ors; MACC IPJ Report No. 119-2009

We respectfully refer to your letter dated 22nd July 2010 regarding the above report by our clients, MAS.

On behalf of MAS, we express disappointment with your reply and action for the following reasons :-

(a) The 2 Police reports No. 347/02 dated 04/01/2002 and No. 12532/05 dated 04/05/2005 was made by MAS against Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli and officers who conspired with him (please refer to Annexure 12) and

(b) MACC Report No: 119/2009 is against the Commercial Crimes Investigations Department of Polis Diraja Malaysia (CCID PDRM), the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) and Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli where MAS considers there has been corrupt involvement or abuse of powers resulting in the case against Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli to be dealt with in a lackadaisical manner (please refer to Annexure 3B at paragraphs 8, 9, 11, and 12);

(c) Your action in referring the report back to CCID PDRM has caused alarm and distress to our clients as your action has exposed our clients’ report to the parties against whom the report was made;

(d) Your action is wholly inconsistent and is in violation of the provisions of s.29(4) and s.65(2) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 as it is evident that CCID PDRM is one of the parties being complained against and they should not have access to the details of the report made by our clients against them.

MAS and its officers involved in this matter request assurance from you that there would be no retaliatory actions taken against them as a result of the disclosures made by you to CCID PDRM whereas it was our clients’ hope that you would at least have investigated their complaint or action to be taken against the parties that have been identified in the report.

Now U understand why people like me continues to be anonymous completely even in your forum. BECOS I am one of those whistleblowers and potential whistleblowers. Any evidence I have of any corruption, crimes or wrong doings will NEVER be reported or given to MACC or the Police or Army because all these are the instruments of evil and dictatorships of UMNO and their mamaks. No no no. Whatever evidence I have will be given to the whole wild world including this forum site, RPK himself, to all the opposition leaders, to all overseas newspapers, to all the forum sites in the internet and to all the writeable blogs... including u tube

What the hell are the ahli-ahli Lembaga Penasihat & AJK Pencegahan Rasuah going to do about this serious alleged corruption in the Mas? 19 respectable and reputable members of the country's elite but so far not even one of them has made any attempt to comment over this matter.
Malaysians would love to know whether you cannot, dare not or will not interfere in this matter. And if that's the case, that you are unable to do the joy you have been appointed to do, please resign en-block before the public writes unfavourable remarks about you.

MACC was never incompetence, but in fact, they are the most competence group of public servants, paid by the public not to curb or arrest corruption.

That’s where the masterstrokes lie. MACC is pro-corruption and are most competence in carrying out their duty even to the extent of murdering (or at least, being accused of murdering) their witness.

They are there to protect those corrupted, prosecute the whistleblowers, and destroy those who choose to expose corruption by dragging then through mud with lengthy trumped up charges, even with acquittal those accused will be by then a spent force and the crime by than would be perfectly executed and neatly covered-up.

Allow those corrupted with crimes too large to cover-up will be allowed to walk free after under years of intentional lengthy and sloppy investigation which normally end with acquittal.

Their records show that they are most competence in what they are doing.

MACC is a very dark force, a monster devoid of form.

When the Govt of the day considers whistleblowers a threat to the ruling class rather than the saviour of its integrity ,the Govt has reached its pinnacle of incompetency,The Govt of the day becomes a threat to its citizens. .Democratic institutions safeguarding integrity have been compromised. PR must promise the rakyat they will KIV these types of cases and after they are voted in to Putrajaya in GE13, they will reopen the files, prosecute all those criminals and corrupt enforcement officers, jail them and recover all their ill gotten loot. The good conscience and ethical officers in these enforcement agencies should start compiling all their corrupt colleagues' criminal activities for future prosecution and be rewarded by the PR gomen with 10% for every case closed on the illegal loot recovered.
