(NST) DE FACTO law minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said a select committee could look into the recommendation of abolishing the quorum and voting by division requirements in Parliament.
The suggestion was made by Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Council (BNBBC) deputy chairman Datuk Bung Moktar Radin following the near defeat of BN's Budget 2010 last December.
"They can write to the speaker. But for now it is just a suggestion which was mentioned off-the cuff," he said after announcing the appointment of Sundra Rajoo as the director of the new Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration.Nazri also welcomed a plan by Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohamed Hashim (Independent -- Bayan Baru) to set up a minority caucus made up of all independent MPs.
"I see them as a third force. They can criticise and support either the government or the opposition."

suka suka say to ask somewhere, then when want to say we say so it so.
dont pretend lah. all rubbish, one sided, onemalaysia, one only.
anyway to begin with the proposal is plain stupidity - what to expect coming from that bung (bung = something to plug a gap/hole) guy? hey when the majority in a parliament cannot be confident to muster its numbers for a vote you want to change the rule? then why not change it so that the minority RULES?!!!

They have "Destroyed" the original Constitution, denied the rights of the nation, the states & its people, still continuing to "Demand Respect" from the people....Ketuanan Eunachs of the 1st order!
- Former Lord President Tun Mohamed Suffian Hashim repeatedly insisted in his foundational written texts...
- that in Malaysia, the Constitution and nothing but the Constitution is "the Supreme Law of the land".
- Malaysia cannot afford to see Constitutional principles imperilled, and constitutional processes jeopardised....
— not even out of an understandable impatience, or a conscientious determination, to see the urgent political and practical problems of the day speedily resolved.

Hello Nazri...you were with him in the US recently, so is it your idea in the first place to "Use" the "new trojan horse members" as another of many, many, many "UMNO's 3rd fronts" ?
Is this all that you can say on his issue, yet "shoot your Authority" at other times, even when it does not warrant your comments????
Holy Shit!

Like that we can save on their salaries, including allowances for their attendance when parliament is in session.
We only need to pay them an allowance so that they can vote on line to pass government bills.

A typical example of I scratch your back, you scratch my back . Never mind if the idea is good for the rakyat or otherwise. To umNO, that is not important. .
