(Malaysian Mirror) VARIOUS phrases, taken at random, from the Tourism Malaysia site make attractive reading. The words "free to practice his own faith, Islam in Malaysia is tolerant, gentle mannerism of the Malays, diligent Chinese, fearsome Ibans" complement what we see in everyday life.

Left to our own devices, all the races do get on. That is until politicians obstruct us and scupper all the goodwill and harmony created, by making various issues political.

When International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed asked Malaysian restaurateurs in Holland to improve Malaysia's image, he should have directed that request to his Cabinet colleagues. It might also be judicious to extend that charge to all politicians in Malaysia.

Suspicious deaths of people in custody, caning of women, ban on the word 'Allah', torched churches, boars heads in mosques, journalists desecrating the Catholic church, Penan rapes, trumped up charges of opposition politicians, are some of the more serious issues.

And quite rightly, the Dutch government was alarmed, as in all of these, justice was denied.

In truly democratic societies, people are allowed to openly discuss issues that concern them. But Malaysians do not have the luxury of freedom of expression or intelligent discourse.

Something should be done about BAHRAIN. The mamak there has alienated not only distinguised Malaysians who've lived there for decades, but that Penang mamak & his "mami" have been so badly behaved that the other foreign diplomats, including the host country have distanced themselves. Do the Penang mamak care? No, they're oblivious to the fact that they're being shunned in diplomatic circles and quite happy lording it over the small Malaysian community there. When bad muslim UMNO mob continue to avoid the truth of the Malaysian situation, they look SO DAMN FOOLISH, as a Malaysian and as a Malay race, in the eyes of the world. They might as well sit back, cooped up in their coconut shelves in Malaysia and avoid the gross embarrasment to themselves to the max when meeting foregin dignitaries.

Learn from your fellow Malay like Art Harun who reports on the truth on Article 153 today, and the discrepancy of its ruling and the discrimination that has been practised.

When you face the truty in malaysia, then you can go and solve the problem. To smile and hide from it and pretend all is well - you look like a complete IDIOT in front of any foreigners you meet.

If they smile and engage with you, they are just being kind. In reality, they think you are the among the lowest of human beings to treat your own innocent kinds, born and bred in Malaysia with history of patriots ancestors, the ISA and discriminated ways.

Dont you feel no shame? I cringe for you each time you meet foreign dignitaries with the mountains of lies and deception in your hearts

Thrash ISA. We have stopped listening to you. For malaysia.

Only 1Party is responsible for all the woes, religious and racial tension, destructively coursing thru the vein of Malaysian society today. Everyone of us including our dogs know which party that is but sad to say, this dungu party still thinks the rakyat is as blur as them with their underhanded tactics of torching churches and throwing boars' heads (with strings attached) into mosques, in the hope of starting another May 13. Read our lips, dungu, "It ain't gonna happen this time." smilies/cheesy.gif

UMNO's game has already been exposed and well known by the majority of the masyarakat both in east and west malaysia. This is a party that allowed selfish leaders to mislead their members and the nation to such an extent that it has actually crippled us from the global competetive point of view.Today,we are on crutches, all of us, in comparison to the soaring economies of others in Asia.UMNO did not walk the talk.
They advertised to the world in icing clad words, while resorting to criminal scheming in affairs of our country's administration. They have brought shame and disrespect to every Malaysian.
