The UMNO government continues to raise the salary of civil servants, police and the military. Why? Not because they have earned the pay rise through increased productivity. Not because of a conscious effort by the govt to help them to keep up with inflation - if this was the intention, then the UMNO govt would also ensure that employees in the private sector are also helped to cope with inflation. The reason for the regular, if not frequent, pay rise/bonus to the civil servants is to bribe the nearly 90% Malays in the civil service to fully support UMNO. WIth UMNO in power, the Malay civil servants are ensured of good pay and perks regardless of their performance.

This bribery alone should be enough for the average Malay civil servants to support UMNO forever. But some upright decent Malay civil servants, police and military personnel and a significant proportion of the general Malay populace have seen UMNO's game and have started to question UMNO's corruption and evil deeds. The only way to divert this threat posed a growing proportion of the Malay population to UMNO's survival is through the BTN's Ketuanan Melayu agenda, hence the current indoctrunation and brainwashing of Malay civil servants and students. Top of the agenda is the "threat " posed by the enemy of the Malays - the Chinese (Indians don't matter as they are weak and can be easily quelled if not shot).

The regular pay rises and apartheid BTN training may work to reinforce the loyalty of Malay civil servants, etc. to UMNO. But there is a far bigger proportion of Malays out there who are neither getting the "pay rise" and similar form of bribes nor going for BTN training. Pakatan Rakyat, NGOs, civil societies and decent Malaysians should expose UMNO's evil deeds and corruption to these Malay masses. If they rise up, UMNO will be finished even if this evil organization has the support of the majority of civil servants, police and military. UMNO will be finished when the Malay masses rise and this day is not very far away.
