The Police showed they have much to learn in crowd control.

All we have to do, come that next goman is to sack all the police senior officers above the rank of Commissioners and retrain these blue bottles in giving due regard to their bosses - the Malaysian people are the true bosses of the Police force. smilies/cool.gifsmilies/cool.gif

I wish all of you were there with us to witness this true spirit of Malaysians at work today.
It all stated yesterday when the police started the unnecessary road blocks causing so much inconvenience to the people. It was obvious they did all the blocking to discourage Malaysians from going to the demonstration today. I am sure they were very successful to a certain extend. But in spite of that, they failed to deter a huge crowd of courageous Malaysians from gathering at the city. Yes, it was a risk as the BN governments together with the police have attempted to scare the people with threats of violent from Perkasa and even silat group, police themselves and even counter demonstration by UMNO youth. They started catching people even before that and some of them for just wearing a yellow T-shirt. They managed to bulldoze their way to get a court order to justify their rounding up some Bersih and Pakatan leaders. Road blocks over Klang Valley, public transportation were disrupted; thousand of police officers and FRUs were deployed. In spite of that, they failed to discourage a huge crowd of courageous Malaysians to gather in the city. Yes, we were there to support Bersih 2.0 call for Free and Fair election and what is wrong with that?

I was there with my friends and was glad we were there. Yes, the crowd turnout was huge. At one time at above close to 2pm, I think there were at least 50,000 people gathered near Maybank HQ. Yes, the crowds were "Muhibah" crowd with mixture of Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races. There were old and young of both sexes. Even some came on wheel chairs and clutches. It was very touching when tear gases were shot at the crowd when you find Malays, Chinese and Indian helping each other offering salt and wet towels in spite we do not know each other. It was the true Malaysian spirit we once have until BN government “killed” it. The march was peaceful as promised and there was not a single instant (at least what I have personally witnessed) of attempt violent from the crowd against the police. This is one of the best behaved crowd, I have ever witnessed in a demonstration on both real life and on TVs. With exception of those with tear bombs and water cannon, most of the police were friendly and we can see that they were forced into doing something against their own principle.

Malaysians have woke up. Thanks to Bersih. Thanks to Ambiga and not forgetting Raja Petra. And most important thanks to the courageous MALAYSIANS who turn out for the demonstration in KL, other part of Malaysia and the rest of the world. It is a new beginning and the government better wake up and CHANGE before it is too late as we will use our VOTES wisely to vote in a government that will do what is right for Malaysia and Malaysians before it is too late.

Long Live Courageous Malaysians.
