Admittedly, this article might be a bit overdue, however it was mainly due to the fact that I’ve been bogged down with my upcoming A-levels. As I sat in front of my laptop the night before, watching the crowds assemble near Dataran, I was still mulling over whether or not I should attend.

What can the six wise men do to help the cause of justice and fair play? Practically nothing.

The government was determined to crush a blossoming movement that had again plucked up the courage to stand up for all that is good. The police must surely be inching for a clash because they did not come to embrace their fellow citizens espousing a rightful cause. They were out in full force to display their muscle on orders of the political masters. All it needed was a spark to light the fuse.

The oft-heard argument by political coalitions that they do not want to air their election manifestoes too early because they do not want the opposing coalition to copy them is laughable since it implies that the manifestoes of the two coalitions are inter-changeable. Occupy Dataran raided by DBKL one day after our camp 1 month anniversary

 At 9:30am this morning, a day after Occupy Dataran celebrated our 1 month old peaceful encampment at Dataran Merdeka, DBKL raided our campsite, confiscated all our belongings, took down our protest tent, took away our mats, signs, food, drinks and supplies.

(FMT) -  A group of 15 men, believed to be retired army veterans, have resorted to staging a vulgar aerobics protest in front of Bersih co-chairman’s home, S Ambiga.

“They came in front of my house and performed a vulgar dance show. It was very ugly and disgusting.
