STAR supports extra seats for Sabah, Sarawak

Thursday, 08 March 2012 admin-s

Days ago, Petronas announced that it made a record RM96.561 billion gross profit for the 9-months period ending 31 December 2011 with the federal government getting RM27.113 billion in tax revenue and RM30 billion in dividend payment. Hata Wahari why DAP why not PKR?

Hata Wahari has been with Utusan Malaysia for 16 years! Enam Belas Tahun!

In January 2011 Utusan Malaysia (aka News without Truth!) suspended Hata Wahari  alleging that Hata Wahari had brought the newspaper into disrepute and insulted its management. How anybody could drag Utusan Malaysia deeper into the abyss it is already in is debatable, but you cannot fault the management of Utusan Malaysia for not trying! Committing Hari Kiri seems to be about the only noble thing left for Utusan Malaysia's management to do given their inability to do anything else that could advance the noble profession of journalism - especially their own!

Mixed reaction to DAP’s ‘one man one seat’ move

Friday, 13 January 2012 Super Admin

DAP grassroots members are quite sceptical about this announcement, especially since there is no guarantee that no exception will be given to any leader.

Alan Ting, Free Malaysia Today

DAP’s announced intention to field one candidate for only one seat in the next general election in the peninsula draws one’s attention immediately to those in the party now holding two seats.

Electoral reform a farce without free and fair media coverage

Saturday, 31 December 2011 admin-s

An electoral contest with one contestant monopolizing the media to the exclusion of his adversary is akin to a debating competition where one debater is using a microphone to speak to the audience while the other is using none.

Immigration Blues

Saturday, 31 December 2011 admin-s

I supposed the warning signs were there, the extensions to his visa getting shorter from 3 months to 2 months then 1 month. He has tried applying for a religous teacher's visa but since he's not attached to any known temple, the move was a non-goer!!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

1.    In the past few weeks, the MACC has been very prolific. Many advertorials have been published in the main stream newspapers of the MACC’s achievements in eradicating corruption. The conviction of former Selangor MB Dato Seri Khir Toyo to 1 year imprisonment seems to boost the MACC’s image.

Clarity of purpose and vision: ABU!

UMNO is full of failed leaders. More of their first tier leaders have, at one time or another, left UMNO than have stayed. Tunku, Hussein Onn, Mahathir, Tengku Razaleigh, Musa Hitam, Anwar Ibrahim and maybe Mahathir again if he does not have his way in the run up to the 13th general elections.  Some have done so out of spite, some out of a sense of moral responsibility while some chose to do politics outside UMNO. I look at Najib today and see a man out of his depth in a job he is ill equipped to handle.
