Grow up, PAS supporters. Stop acting like bloody spoiled children who throw tantrums every time someone does not agree with you. You are still far from matured. And until you show maturity do not expect us to show you respect. Respect must be earned. Stop demanding that we show you respect when you have not earned it.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

We are still seeing a lot of venom being spitted out because of my article on Hudud. The trouble is these people think they have every right to propagate Hudud (just because they happen to be Muslim-Malays) and others have absolutely no right to oppose the issue.

They appear to have forgotten one very crucial issue. PAS is a political party. Therefore, whatever PAS says and does is politics. That is all it is. Politics. Nothing more nothing less.

Any political party is allowed to propagate and promote its objective, aspiration, ideology, mission, vision, manifesto, and what have you. This is the right of all political parties. And in that same spirit, any citizen of Malaysia has the right to disagree with what these political parties stand for.

It just happens to be that PAS promotes the Hudud issue. And those who do not support this issue are allowed to oppose it. What if PAS promotes the issue that every Malaysian citizen must be given a free cow? Do we have the right to oppose that if we disagree with this idea?

What if PAS says that Malaysian males of the age of 15 must be allowed to vote and for females it should be the age of 11 because that is the age of puberty? Can we disagree with that proposal on grounds that Malaysians of ages 11-15 are just too young and instead propose that all Malaysians of the age of 18 should be allowed to vote since they can get married and can drive a car at that age -- so they should also be allowed to vote at that age?

PAS members and Malaysians in general scream that Barisan Nasional and Umno do not respect the Federal Constitution of Malaysia. But do the PAS supporters respect the Constitution?

Article 8 (1 and 2) of the Constitution says all Malaysians must be treated equal. So how can Muslims suffer a different punishment from non-Muslims for crimes they commit? Is this not a violation of the Constitution? And is PAS respecting the Constitution by proposing different punishments for crimes based on your religion? The Constitution says there must be no discrimination based on religion.

PAS requires non-Muslims to pay ‘Islamic’ tax other than income tax. Muslims pay zakat and non-Muslims pay kharaj. Is this not a violation of Article 11(2) of the Constitution?

Why scream about Barisan Nasional and Umno not respecting the Constitution when we too do not respect it? We scream blue murder when it suits us. But we also violate the Constitution when it suits us.

This is what these emotional PAS supporters are overlooking. PAS is a political party. And everything they say and do must be seen as politics. And in politics we have a right to agree, disagree, and agree to disagree.

So what if PAS happens to be talking about Islam or Islamic laws? It is still politics since PAS is a political party. And in politics we have every right to agree or disagree with what you say and do.

Grow up, PAS supporters. Stop acting like bloody spoiled children who throw tantrums every time someone does not agree with you. You are still far from matured. And until you show maturity do not expect us to show you respect. Respect must be earned. Stop demanding that we show you respect when you have not earned it.

DAP will not compromise on hudud issue, says Karpal

(The Star) - DAP will not depart from its stand that Malaysia should not be an Islamic country.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh said PAS should not infringe the ruling by the five-men bench Supreme Court ruling in 1988, which decreed that the country is governed by secular laws.

“This ruling is not overturned and therefore the decision still stands.

“PAS has to accept the Supreme Court’s pronunciation,” he told a press conference at the Air Itam market yesterday.

He was commenting on PAS Youth chief Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi’s statement that it would continue to push for the implementation of Islamic laws in Malaysia despite fierce objection from the DAP.

Karpal Singh, who is also Bukit Gelugor MP, said the party would not compromise on its principles to appease its political partners.

He said DAP was not anti-Malay or anti-Islam but “what we want in absolute terms is what the Constitution provides for and for what the Supreme Court has decreed”.

“Syariah laws means hudud laws and hudud laws are inappropriate for a multi-cultural and multi-racial country like Malaysia.”

On the allegation made by Umno Youth that the state government was using the Penang Turf Club’s contribution to fund its hardcore poor eradication programme, Karpal Singh said Umno should not exploit the issue.

“The income of the country or at least part of it is from gambling.

“If Umno is right, then all governments (state and Federal) should be condemned as the gambling permits are also issued by the Federal Government,” he said.

Federal Constitution of Malaysia

Article 8

   1. All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law.

   2. Except as expressly authorized by this Constitution, there shall be no discrimination against citizens on the ground only of religion, race, descent or place of birth in any law relating to the acquisition, holding or disposition of property or the establishing or carrying on of any trade, business, profession, vocation or employment.

Article 11

   1. Every person has the right to profess and practice his religion and, subject to Clause (4), to propagate it.

   2. No person shall be compelled to pay any tax the proceeds of which are specially allocated in whole or in part for the purposes of a religion other than his own.

I also take it as a great insult to the teaching that the angel will ask your name when you die if you want to enter heaven. In the first place he should know your name. Secondly it is a great insullt to Allah that he should have given this kind of ruling. Next it is another great insult to his intelligence that there is such thing as entering heaven just by a Muslim name. For the the qualification for entering is not based on a mere name but how one has lived his or her life and this is the standard teaching of all religions. I do not know who is the idiot who came out with this type of reasoning. For instance we have many in this world who are not Muslims and who have helped them in many ways by supporting them whenever they are needed. Some have given up their lives defending and helping Muslims . (take the case of defending the shites from annihilaltion by the sunnis in Iraq) Take the case of Pakistan and Bangladesh.: everytime there is a natural disaster money is poured in to help them alleviate the human suffering of all who live there not considering religion as a qualification. When there was a tsunami money was poured from western countries and also countries like China that do not believe in a God!!! That money as Muslims say came from kafirs. And yet they took it knowing it is the basis of dire needs. Of course some idiotic fellow Muslim will say Allah willed that kafirs help us. And I will say to this idiot.. yes Allah has alot of fun sending tsunamis and floods and natural disasters to some Muslim countries so that others can help??? So even after giving up your life to defend a muslim brother or to support him Allah will still send him to hell because he is a kafir??????Aiya ..real insult to Allah...Here in Penang there are idiots who split hairs that money from gambling cannot be used to help the poor Muslim...aiyah..but the same fellows are paid by our tax-money ( does the LHDN confirm all the money taxed is clean?) halal ke??
(what about the sales tax money and import duty from selling babi??)
Both BN and PAS have lost their real value and meaning of Islam's beauty. Their job is to catch people in kalwat, not fasting , baby dumping and so forth. The purity of the religion is corrupted by some so called " know all little allah' ayiah..as I said if you have a religion.. it should promote peace love and understanding of all mankind....otherwise just flush it into the toilet. Sometimes I wish just like China those who get caught for corruption and major crimes...just shoot them...and collect 20 sen for the bullet..

Some Muslims are so brain washed and programed to think that they are the one and only special one of God . Maybe the NEP is derived from that? SO much so that they can't think straight and rationalise anymore to the point of hallucination that every other faith is a threat and should be wiped out.
They only know their religious laws and think that its the best, because its supposed to be from God. Why they chose to ignore the failings and backwardness of most Islamic countries is very obvious. But yet they chose to follow because their hearts are hardened. Please love them, help them, take care of them and remember to pray for them. They need help. the help of the One and only Living God.

at age 3 if you are taught to memorise, memorise, memorise, memorise and wear tudung tudung tundung...when you are 30 that is all you can remember. At age 3 when you are told over and over again that the other s are kafirs..then it will be that Muslims will look at all the others as kafirs.
Even when the Christian and non Christian world is pouring money into Muslim states like Pakistan for its weather calamity...at the end of the day they the helpers are looked upon as kafirs and need to be killed.
Here in Malaysia it will be the same. The kafirs will be the ones who run the business and make the country prosper. The non-kafirs work for them, earn from them and are supported in many ways by them. End of the day..they are still kafirs and therefore kaifirs are bound by Islam to support non-kafirs and everything taken and given by the kafirs is halal.
The women are brainwashed to satisfy the men sexually and be husband friendly other wise the talak is the tool that will be used.
This brainwashing in Islam is bad. It does not allow a person to use his or her God given brain to think clearly. All mooftis, ulamas and imams statements are taken as koranic truth.. and the followers never question the real truths in the koran.
End of the day you get people who are willing to bomb, commit suicide , and keep threatening other non muslims to state that Islam is the only superior religion in the world. This bullshit is the worst lie that can be taught to Muslims because like Christianity no one has seen God or Allah per se. Religion is personal and everyone must be taught to think for themselves that religion must be believed and made personal not shuffed down the throat of people by some moofti, imam or priest. What is taught is second hand..people must learn to find the truth in their own..they must be taught to question.
Brainswashing produces terrorists and people who kill without thinking because they think that God or Allah blesses murders...and ill treatment of non muslims and that muslims are superior in believe. This is bullshit. total bullshit as can be seen and witnessed as how it is being practiced. PAS is another bullshit party. Its main aim is to use Allah to control the people and power. In practice you can check it out in Kelantan..the same bullshit is being done there as muslim politicians in the BN
This is the bullshit that is being is being diseminated to all around. There are some intelligent ones that use their brain to think and are leaving the country..But the majority just follow like sheep and cattle into the ranch( kandang). if religion cannot teach people to love all people and to live in peace.than that religion is total bullshit..and needs to be flushed into the toilet..

It is becoming clearer by the day...once religion and politics or state mix, you have trouble for sure...no critical thinking will be possible once someone in some power position thinks they are representing God... they can talk without reason or stupid and can get away with it just by shouting like a crybaby throwing tantrum....I WANT HUDUD!!! ...you see this sort of barbaric behavior everywhere in the world where monothistic religious leaders are in some position of power...and they demand RESPECT...WHAT A JOKE! Just as I predicted long ago...PAS will be a problem for PR once in position of power...haiz....

Really, it has been proven time and again, religion plus politics is a lethal mix. Today is a very sad day for me; my Malay colleague, saddled with two toddlers, divorced, no financial support from ex-hubby, is struggling to survive & feed herself & kids on a RM2k salary. She has been in & out of the Syariah Court fighting for some child support to no avail. What the FCUK? In developed countries, whereby Islam is NOT the official religion, it's a crime not to pay child support. Can Selangor state govt set up a Fund primarily to give financial support to such single mothers?

When someone tells you that the religion he embraces "will be fair" and you should "not fear" as "every one will be treated equally" ! Look, around you and everywhere where such a religion is incorporated into the ruling system of those nations ! Women are treated like baby-making machines, for sexual romp and recreation, for intimidation and imposition of male supremacy, as unpaid slaves to do the house-hold chores , as punching bags , as masseurs and younger ones to replace the old as new spouses !

When they treat their own like that , can you ever rely on them to treat the others like what the have been saying always that they are fair and just , no fear ! It just reminds me of killer whales that perform so well in "water-worlds" entertainments. Always remember that they do eat fish, hunt other sea mammals for food, hunt other species of whales to kill and lately one trainer was mauled and killed !

There are too many negative incidences happening all the time everywhere ! So stop the BULSHIT ! I DON'T BUY !!!!

Nash and Hadi and the guy in the Selangor Assembly ...... I have reservations regarding their cohesiveness within Pakatan Rakyat ! Fortunately our aim now is to rid the nation of a greater evil ! Once the great evil is gone , then we will reconsider ! So , every one..... support PR candidates from now on without any reservations !!

If this is not a serious issue, your comments would be funny.
A turban head raises the temperature and the brains go haywire from over heating ! A myth to be checked by the Myth Blaster boys indeed.

PAS has been alright with some exception. Attempts by junior ranks to gain attention, impatient of the slow progress to the next tier of poltical powers. Good that the birthday boy is able to put the person back into the box in friendly perfect reasoning.

Turban, high temp, brains go overdrive, ummmmmh..........

Can u see??!!! This Guy Mr Nasharuddin is the main player behind Malay-Islam unity aka PAS UMNO Unity. He is just trying to provoke Mr Karpal Singh hoping that this old man will outburst and start playing up "over my dead body"..

Mr Nasha has no agenda except to disunite Pakatan Rakyat. His agenda is to hold UMNO and PAS running side by side. Nothing religious. It is his personal agenda.

Statistically, it is IMPOSSIBLE to implement hudud law. Mr Nasha knows it. He also knows UMNO would never agree because UMNO is the most corrupted party. For sure, Gerakan ,, MIC and MCA would never agree too. But he knows Karpal would stand up by all means necessary. Let these idiots fight among themselves, and in the end UMNO is the winner!!!

So, guys,, pls don’t be overemotional and over react!! And I hope YH MR Pete dont get caught into this standoff. Stick on the issue ABU. Asalkan Bukan UMNO

Currently I regard PAS as a lesser evil compared to Umno. I have a nagging doubt that given the power PAS would push for the implementation of Islamic laws and an Islamic Constitution. I am against them only if it shows that man and woman are not born equal and that man of Islamic faith are more equal than man of other faiths. Friends of the Muslim faith tell me it will not happen as Islam is a fair religion, thus an Islamic Constitution would be fair too. In reality there are lots of doubts when power is centred on those whose mission are to please the Almighty and become blind to the need of others.

Dear RPK,

In my humble opinion, I don’t think a political party with religious inclination should be the government of Malaysia due to its diverse cultures. So what should we do in the next coming GE13? Vote PKR & DAP only and sideline PAS? Please advice. We will follow your instruction.

What happen when the constituency only consists of BN and PAS? Stay out?

RPK, these morons are thick in the heads because of the tight turbans they wrapped around their heads in such hot and humid conditions here. Little wonder that their logic and reasoning skills are incapacitated by the extreme high temperature. They can only rant, rave and foam at the mouths when others disagree with them. Ask them to debate over any issues, they can only quote that it is the will of Allah and it is written in the Koran which, btw, was actually written by many men over hundreds of years after the fact and not by Allah or Prophet Mohammad. Ditto for Katak Ibrahim and his master, Mahalanun when challenged by Nurual Izzah to debate. smilies/grin.gif

He said DAP was not anti-Malay or anti-Islam but “what we want in absolute terms is what the Constitution provides for and for what the Supreme Court has decreed”.

This is the gist of it as it is clearly being spelt out therefore it is not against or anti but points to the right where it should be exercised regardless of who or what that has already been provided for in the constitution. We have to understand the part where any new laws to be introduced and implemented need to be carefully studied and agreed as it could be suiting one party or more but it must certainly be balanced to all parties(all races and religions of
people) as such ambiguity must not be allowed and will cause troubles for all.

The essence of law must be applied fairly to all.
