(FMT) KUCHING: Two senior editors of a newspaper here have been sacked and suspended respectively for allowing a “negative” article on Chief Minister Taib Mahmud to be published.

New Sarawak Tribune editorial adviser, James Ritchie, has been removed and replaced by Taib’s former press secretary, Effendi Ariffin, while the newspaper’s executive editor, Paul Si, has been suspended.

The paper which recently changed its name from The Eastern Sun to the New Sarawak Tribune is owned by one of Taib’s daughters.

The offending Bernama article appeared on Aug 30, on the front page of the paper under the headline “Is Taib testing the waters?”

It is understood that the objectionable part of the article was a comment made by Jeniri Amir, a political analyst at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).

To The Monster of Sarawak
Do you know that:-
"Whatever a man soweth that shall he also reap".
You sacked James Ritchie & Paul Si.
Don't gloat because soon the rakyat of Sarawak will hound you out of office & you will have to account for your years of stealing & looting.
This is the immutable law of the Almighty & you can't escape because evil begets evil.

James Ritchie the NST editorial adviser? Was he not the freelance writer who used to do write-ups for the msm colouring Barisan in its most colourful palette in the earlier years? Looks like the buck stops right now at his feet. What comes round is truly coming round for him. Falling out of favour with Pek Moh? Seems the chips are falling apart for a fairy tale end.

it seems that every thing Taib does of late is detrimental to his sinking-fast reputation. his actions show that this man has no class, no honour and is nothing but a grand scale thief. Such BAD blood!!

Unfortunately for all of us, its not time yet for Taib Tahi to die yet. He should go first instead of his wife and grand-daughter. Even when death has touched his immediate family twice, he is still so defiant and power crazy.

There really is no hope for him (just like Dr Mad). Their minds are in the total control of (Mara, Satan, Iblis - the evil one)!

Bernama article wor? Wah, like that means the Najib administration wants him out already ......

Anyway, James Ritchie and Paul Si should fight back. You don't need to depend on Taib's family to survive. Now that you have been sacked, you are no longer obliged to hold back on all those info about his family's misdeeds.
