We refer to the article entitled ‘The RPK blip, bleep and the Beeb’ written by Shane Fuentes and published in Malaysian Mirror, in particular the following part of that article:
When RPK tried to desperately contact London-based Hindraf Makkal Sakthi chairman Waythamoorthy Ponnusamy, the latter was understandably very wary and kept a good distance from him. RPK used a go-between to get Waythamoorthy to see him but the latter rebuffed all attempts. Finally, RPK turned up one morning at Waythamoorthy’s door himself. He was virtually shown the door.
Subsequently, he went on a tirade against Hindraf, labeling it and the Ponnusamy brothers – including the elder Uthayakumar – as racists. Hindraf did not dignify RPK’s attacks with any rebuttal.
In a statement that make no reference whatsoever to RPK, Hindraf has explained that “a racist is one who denies other people their rights in the sun”.
In the case of Hindraf, it was further explained, the ad hoc apolitical movement was only fighting for the rights of the marginalized to have their place in the sun without depriving others, in the process, of their rights”.
Hindraf sees no need to speak up for others but to focus only on the plight of the marginalized. This has been latched on by RPK to label Hindraf in his blog as racist since “it doesn’t speak up for all but only one group”.
Is it any wonder therefore that the BBC has found RPK not newsworthy enough or credible to appear on its HARDTalk show?
RPK neither makes a difference for the better nor for worse. He’s in the non-news category. No news is bad news. Bad news is good news. When a dog bites a man, it’s not news. When a man bites a dog, it’s news.
It’s more likely that Hindraf’s Waythamoorthy will soon appear on a BBC show. Even hardcore Malay racists in Malaysia concede, albeit grudgingly, that Hindraf Makkal Sakthi makes a compelling case. (read more here).
We wish to confirm that the article above is inaccurate, to put it mildly, as we have a very good relationship that extends beyond just a professional relationship but is very personal in nature. We have met many times and have visited each other’s homes on numerous occasions. Your commentary is therefore not only misleading but also malicious in intent.

You need to understand HINDRAF strategy . The rule is to vote BN in all by-election to get whatever goodies while it lasts. Come GE13 vote UMNO out. HINDRAF has not changed a bit in their demands since Nov 25 2007. The only things changed is they are criticizing PR now for the same reason they criticized UMNO, MIC.
When UMNO was criticized we all happy but when PR got criticized we are giving the same excuse. No politician is an angel.

Better MY - “The Indians must perform for the PR, just as the Sabah PKR must perform for central Sabah PKR”.
Are you a fool with a dictum such as this? Did we not have enough of UMNO that wants other BN parties 'to dance and perform' for them? "
You are missing a very important point of difference, Dhan.
The BN parties-MIC/MCA perform for UMNO to all rounded bad governance, every way you see. theya re partners to Malysian destruction.
The PR parties/chinese/INDIAN/malay perform for PR to an all rounded GOOD governance. The alternative government is a proven system for a party to try to do their best for the rakyat and the nation. The Indian must give PR a chance to govern with their cealry stated positioning on general change of policies for the masses. That INCLUDE ALL INDIAN. it may NOT come in the form of more Indian/chinese temples or more Indian/chinese schools but the overal benefits impact to ALL the Indian, in many facets of lives, are going to go exponentialy upwards.
Is this soooo difficult thing to see, Dhan & Indian people?
If it is a yes, all I can say your head is made up of all cow dung, with minute 2 gm of grey cells only, fit only to live in the South india caste system where you are more comfortable with the other 2 gm grey cells Indian people there.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating which the bad establishments have yet to learn.
Yes, indeed, Shane Fuentes. The proof is in the reading. When a writer fantasizes too much, eventually the readers will be able to call his bluff and be able to discern his fantasies from reality. When a writer writes opinion pieces without any research he's just like all the commentators here, including myself, a person with an azzhole. That's what they say about opinions. Have you been fantasizing .... again?

Antares, now at least HINDRAF is outright and clear in its direction for the marginalized and discriminated Malaysian. How is that a lallang? Get a bearing of yourself what is it you are really waging a battle for.

In what ways can we have a Better Malaysia?
At least we talk well, respectfully of each other and not swear in vain about divine rights and can't seem to unite for anything.

The crux is the ability to influence the Indian to the good force. The HS buy-election was a shocker for the support the Indian gave to the BeEnd, returning them higher votes%. NO REASONS can be accepted for that Indian to return to the mob. The Indians must perform for the PR, just as the Sabah PKR must perform for central Sabah PKR. Otherwise, It will continue to attract highest criticisms, All your complaints on the mob, such as religious conversions, equating the whole PR to BeEnd for 1-2 issue, etc, will more likely go to more deaf ears with your clear voting intentions
Until the support for poor governance is ended,to many good force, Indians are looked upon with disgust right now, at least to this writer. It up to the Indian to correct this gross error of judgement of theirs.
Any Indian and the mastero, or any standing alone Indian grouping to correct hostile anti-PR/good force reports, like the one above, are always welcome. The Indian need to spoken out loud where they stand. They must stand for the good of the masses, just as the chinese and the good malay are doing s well for the masses, iNCLUDING the Indian.
There has not been enough of Indian side standing for the masses to make up the mostly racist emphasis by the Indian in the past and currently. The Indian slide to oblivion of interest to the others must be reversed by the Indian themselves.
The perogative in Sabah PKR is with the central PKR. not any individual in Sabah PKR.

Now, this Shane Fuentes bloke(?) is doing the same.... once bitten, twice shy, no? I guess not since these are the same creative geniuses that came up with Sodomy 1 & 2, etc.
how pathetic! how sad! While I admit it is fun reading (I am still LMFAO), all these nonsensical letters from the BN-regime is just a waste of my time.
