Dig into your pockets and see if you can find a RM5 polymer note, nice and smooth to the touch but unless you know what your government controlled MSM won't tell you, you will always continue to be nice and smooth with your corrupt UMNO/BN government or their spawns whilst enjoying the texture of the RM5 note!

[Pertains to Malaysia at 24:30 of ABC video found at: http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/special_eds/20100524/money/ - MTadmin]

There is a possibility that when Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) decided to experiment with polymer currency, somebody high within the decision making process, collected a tidy "commission" for it in 2004. However it may have started as early as 1998 with the commemorative Commonwealth Games RM50 polymer note. On both occasions these polymer bank notes were contracted to and supplied by two subsidiaries of the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) - a country with strict laws which the Aussie government seriously tries to uphold (or so it seems)!

On 24 May 2010, Australia Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) made its first broadcast of its investigative program Four Corners: Dirty Money about possible illegal corrupt practices involving the RBA. And today the news broke to ordinary Malaysians by Malaysiakini about a Malaysian with "high-level connections in Umno and it is believed that at least one individual closely connected with a senior government official received kickbacks from the commissions paid by the RBA firms." (Malaysiakini's report - M'sian quizzed over RM11 Australian kickbacks

dontch te'orl me that marketing agents for RBA subsidiary cannot collect their marketing fee?
These agent wil always say they have good connections with political leaders and decision makers.
If they do not say these things, RBA will probably look for someone else.
These agents, will probably give some gifts only after getting the contract, say holiday trips as these officials normally will not accept gifts.
Even in US and europe, the oil companies do similar things to get concesssions. You guys think that airbus, BAE, Northrop and Boeing will not give kickbacks for defence grants?
In singapore, merryl lynch hired minister's daughter to work in their offce in new york after securing contracts from the govenrment of singapore. Shipyards give kickbacks of up to 2.5%, but renamed it as commissions. Only fools think that we live in a perfect qworld.
