Selangor Umno To Have Convention To Evaluate Opposition In State

TANJONG KARANG, March 12 (Bernama) -- Selangor Umno will have a convention early next month in Shah Alam to discuss and review the performance of the opposition pact for two years in the state.

Deputy chairman of the Selangor Umno liaison committee, Datuk Seri Noh Omar, said the convention being held for the first time will encompass all issues faced by the opposition after the 12th general election.

He said Selangor Umno leaders will be given freedom to voice their views on the issues that beset the opposition Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor headed by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).

"We will study closely the effects of the opposition's administration from the economic, social and political aspects," Noh told reporters after officiating Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Harun's 38th Parent-Teacher Assocation general meeting here on Friday.

Noh, who is also Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister charged that Universiti Industri Selangor (Unisel) which is managed by the Selangor Industrial Education Foundation (PIYSB) registered a loss of RM20 million last year.

*************************************************

Umno Selangor is going to hold a convention next month to evaluate the performance of the opposition in Selangor. What is perplexing, however, is that Umno is going to evaluate the performance of Pakatan Rakyat, not of Barisan Nasional.

What seems to have escaped Umno is that Barisan Nasional is the opposition in Selangor, not Pakatan Rakyat. Pakatan Rakyat is the Selangor state government.

This clearly demonstrates the mentality of Umno, which the Malays would classify as gila talak. Go ask a Malay friend what gila talak means and if you do not have any Malay friends then too bad -- that’s your problem, not mine.

Read my lips, in Selangor, Pakatan Rakyat is the government. It is not the opposition. Barisan Nasional is the opposition.

Now read the posting below. The impression given is that this is a pro-Umno Blog and it appears to be a piece that is attacking me. Yet, if you read carefully, it is attacking Umno.

I really can’t make out what this person is trying to say. Is he attacking me or is he attacking Umno? Maybe you should be the judge. I do not want to comment further.

RPK's allegations about the Washington Forum: here's the truth...

RPK's arrogance in trying to run down the Malaysian Government over the Washington forum in February was so telling...

I quote what he wrote in Malaysia Today recently:

"...The invitation to the 24 February seminar in Washington last month says there were supposed to be three speakers. Then only Nazri turned up while Gani Patail and Abdul Hamid Mohamed went missing (in case you did not know what it means). And note the part that says: "The discussion will be on the record. Why did they suddenly announce that it is now OFF THE RECORD?"

Nazri then explained that it was just a coincidence he, Gani and Abdul Hamid happened to be in Washington at the same time. He then said he did not know where the two missing persons were.

In other words, Nazri was telling us that these two MIAs were not supposed to be part of or involved in the seminar. But the official invitation clearly mentioned their names. So Nazri lied. And Ernest Bower (the organiser) also did not explain the sudden change of plan.

Something happened in Washington that day. And they are not telling us what really happened. Then they lied and tried to wangle out of this very embarrassing situation by spinning untruths. But they did not know that Malaysia Today has eyes and ears all over the world. So we have now caught them with their pants down."

RPK thinks the others in Malaysia are as stupid as him by posing such a veiled statement...

It's all bullshit on RPK's part, as the truth is that any Government official would have done the same, i.e. to back off from a trap. The truth is both our judge and Attorney-General DID NOT WANT to make an appearance in the same forum as a Malaysian politician (Nazri), knowing their credibility and image could then be tarnished if they happen to say the same things as the tarnished politician in defending the country's practice and application of the law.

He doesn't even know who the opposition is. With such stupidity and ignorance, how is he going to conduct a convention. At the best it will be the standard of a coffee shop talk.

Typical isn’t it of umno to be confused? I went thru lenggongvalley’s articles and noticed that most of his articles didn’t receive any comment. The most comment he got is for his article “Gadis tak pakai 'panties' sbg lambang cinta sejati pada Hari Valentine (Friday, January 29, 2010)”. I guess this is the only subject he is not confused. haha…

It is really really thick skin for this fellow to think that it is still Bn that is the state gorv., of selangor. You Amno people talk too much cock and dont walk the talk. Even the malays reject you and you should know why. Malays in PR have seen through you and they are not afraid to work with the other races to bring you down. if Bn is so fair then why so many people are against you? I would be the first one to vote for you instead of PR. We are not stupid like you think but the only stupid is your own self cause you are still thinking what you are not. Anyway, we will still work together with all the other races to bring justice to the people of Malaysia our land our country.

HAHAH. I too have no idea what he is trying to say...

But it really does seem like he is ACKNOWLEDGING that the government politicians are "tarnished" and that any attempt to defend the country's law will result in their credibility being further tarnished.

Seriously, this guy should blog more...it would only help our cause.

So which part of RPK's article is a lie?

Are you saying that Gani Patail and Abdul Hamid DID attend the seminar?

Or is it that their names were never mentioned in the official invitation as alleged by RPK? He did , however, publish the invitation card.

Calling someone's article bullshit without showing us why is NOT intelligent. I dare say it borders on moronic.

Perhaps, you don't speak/understand English well.

This is what you get when the government insist on teaching English in Bahasa Malaysia in schools. *LOL*

However, I do agree with you that Nazri is a tarnished politician.

In fact, all the Ministers are.

I just like to say that I enjoyed Lenggong valeey very much in my childhood before kindy + Standard 1 ++ in the 60's . Stole rambutan from malay houses (they dont mind), Then we went up the the hills, through thick jungle hills walk for 3/4 hour, reaching our destinations, immediately diving fully naked from the rocks into the river dams and swim our hearts out. It is mighty cool indeed, temperature wise. Plenty fo durian just a few doors aways to pick up from too, and plucking bamboo skin for 5 cents for 1 log. Attending many malay wedddings were among my highlights - the pretty shimmering silverish/yellowish/reddish longs stalk flowers, still imprinted in my mind Life was so blissful, so great. And I fell in puppy love with a young cute malay girl. There were no race factor. Malays, indian, chinese mixes as one.

Then the race ugliness, perpetuated by this present bad muslim UMNO began in late 60's, leading to this lenggong clown. So very sad.

A great goverenment would have transformed this lenggong valley to top tourist attraction, and bring plenty of tourism money to the valley and the country, by engaging all races to particpate, rather the segregate by race since then.

ISA victims - we'll remember them. We have stopped listernign to you. For Malysia.

Who had to bear the high cost of the "off the record" dicussions led by the three stooges ? In what capacity Zahrain together with his whole family of 7 and Wee represent in this discussion ? Did the taxpayers had to bear all the expenses for these two frogs ? If the answer is yes, than MACC should start doing their work.

The Lenggong clown had put the nail in the coffin of the loose cannon by calling him "tarnish ones. What will be the reaction from the loose cannon ? This clown must be paid by the AG that potray him as a saint.

One, this Omar Noh have obviously not woken up from his bad political dream, pretending as if UMNO is still the ruling party in Selangor and lording over the people. What a dreamer and knuckle-head. This type of attitude reflects on the continuing sheer arrogance of the UMNO's warped political psyche! A Deputy Minister somemore.. huh, they don't realise that their party's political demise in already in front of their doorsteps, do they? Let these UMNO buggers sleep on.....

Two, that Lenggong Lenggeng Dondeng fella appears to be a confused staff blogger or personal supporter of the incorrigible AG or the wayward Judge but yet consciously ashamed of UMNO's political posture and manoeuvres. That's why the contradiction. It's nothing, RPK, that unsure Lenggong bugger is forgettable...

RPK's was right in highlighting any thing done under the sun by those Politician regardless of parties. So UMNO as confirm Gila Talak in all PR states.
