BIG CORRUPT LADY MINISTER OF TOURISM MALAYSIA DATO SRI NG YEN YEN (UPDATED wtih response from Tourism Ministry)

This is a true story regarding our Minister of Tourism Dato Sri Ng Yen Yen (NYY).

The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia have a budget for “Media Campaign” to promote Malaysia on tourism. This budget is called in the Ministry as Media Global Fund. The previous Minister of Tourism Dato Azalina which set up a company that was given a contract to handle the Minister of Tourism's advertising for her own benefit. The same tactic is now use by NYY. She joint venture with one company called Sen Media Sdn. Bhd. and instruct other media to join this company to get contract.

The Managing Director of this company is Ruzi bin Ahmad who is also NYY’s son good friend. NYY’s son met media owners like BBC, STARTV, CNBC, ESPN, National Geographic, Phoenix HK, and Discovery Channel to negotiate and asked for 30% commission. The total budget for this campaign is RM 33 Million, and NYY’s son seeks a total commission around RM 10 Million from them.

Dato Mirza can confirm with this dealing, as the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia suppose to meet on 3rd April to start the media campaign and conclude by end of April, but NYY need to push this deal fast. NYY pressured Dato Mirza to carry forward the meeting to 9th March and starts the program by 15th March.

Due to the current situation, especially in MCA’s situation, NYY need to use the money for personal gain during the MCA’s current turmoil. For readers’ pondering, why should NYY need to move forward the campaign to 15th March 2010 and instruct her office to award the contract urgently so hasty? Why not evaluate other companies and follow the process?

Tourism Malaysia wishes to clarify that currently there is no new contract yet been sealed with any party with regard to the global buy advertising campaign 2010, as claimed by the writer - Malaysia New Kid On Blog, Wednesday, March 10, 2010. For the record, the process and procedures in terms of procurement for advertising is carried out in accordance to Financial Procedures.

You know, it makes me laugh when I see things like this. I mean seriously, if the above story were true, how does one think that a woman like that gets to run a government sponsored department like that? We go on complaining about the way things should be but we dont do anything about it. Instead, we fence sit and dont vote and essentially place the encumbent government back into power. So, stop complaining about it and do something. Cast your vote in the next election and show them who is boss.

I remember the Azalina cases were even bigger. The Brickenbury (UK) football centre case cost many times more than this and yet under NFA. PKFZ also another never ending story. This is just peanuts-la!! Why they waste time?

The MACC only know how to bully the opposition and innocent people like TBH.They never solve any major cases and should close down a waste of taxpayer's money.

If you give this "kick-back" to them, you will only tarnish your corporate image. Futhermore, if you still want to pay the "commission" asked by them from you, than you are all accessories to this corrupt regime. You are helping them to steal the Malaysian tax-payers money.

Pakatan , Don't waste any time. Lodge police report now. The police WILL NOT ACT unless a report is raised.

In cases where Pakatan leaders are rumoured to have committed an offence, the police themselves are more than willing to lodge a report , in the event nobody else has raised one. But don't dream the same to happen in this case.
