Peace, mercy, and blessings to all Malaysians.

My heart goes to those affected by the recent bombings. Today’s ‘World Briefing’ section of The New York Times carried the news.

The three attacks on the churches are terrorist attacks by definition. Thus begin a rough period of turmoil ahead beginning with the blowing up of the French-speaking Mongolian translator for Malaysia's arms dealings. Violence, Machiavellian-styled will be the order of the day -- we have entered a period of the emergence of  demons and demolition. I hope these are not the work of those out to create chaos; in view that the current regime is losing power and seriously challenged by the growing strength of the emergent alternative government. The ends justify the means. Violence is the means and the end as well. While physical violence is the means to cling on to power, structural or the unseen/hidden/structural  violence is the goal of the State.

We are entering "into interesting times," as Mao Zedong would say. You and I are part of the game – in the Malaysian matrix of complexities.

The immediate reaction for all of us should be to condemn these terrorist attacks, so that God forbids, when and if masjids, or and other houses of worship are being bombed, non-Muslim friends of ours will come to console us and help become vigilantes. Terror has no face, nor religious affiliation. Terrorists need to be smoked out of their holes and their hiding places. Organizations supporting them must be exposed and brought to justice.

Malaysians of all faiths must be united in condemning these terrorist acts. All NGOs  must issue a statement on this. These demons need to be incarcerated and the culture  of "demolitions in Malaysian politics" need to be destroyed.

God forbids any of your loved ones were nearby during the morning explosions.

I see this development as a consequence of race-politics, mass panic over a plausibly positive outcome of the next general election, and the implosion happening like a nuclear fission in the concept of Ketuanan Melayu. I have written quite extensively on the pathology of Malay-Muslim extremism. I hope the bombings are not a prelude to the creation of Malaysian suicide bombers. It will be a shame for a peaceful country such as Malaysia to be relegated to be a "Travel Advisory" country as defined by the US State Department.

Democracy in Malaysia is almost dead with the recent happenings. The government is powerless in face of this-- should have stopped those rallies and should have monitored the growth of hate-based NGOs, especially those championing idiotic pride.

Where are we going? What will happen to the future generation of Malaysians as we try to teach tolerance? What then must we do? How do we dismantle all these race-based parties that are using religion to create chaos and destruction? Is the country still safe -- or is Malaysia turning into a Pakistan -- out of our own Talibanization of ideas? "1Malaysia" is now "1Scary Malaysia"

We must speak up for peace and justice for all, and encourage others to leave organizations that are entrenched in racial and religious hatred.  We must console the Christians and Catholics affected by the bombings and address their fear, assuring that the bombings are done not by rational Muslims but by demons on Mat Rempit bikes.

I suggest Malaysians offer donations for the rebuilding of those churches. For me, I offer this piece of writing.

May the Universal God of Humanity grant us Mercy and Compassion in dealing with demons and demolitions. We will be strong, as a nation.

OUR USUAL REMINDER, FOLKS:
While the opinion in the article is mine,
the comments are yours;
present them rationally and ethically.
AND -- ABOLISH THE ISA -- NOW!

cnn 'S COVERAGE -

"It's incumbent upon the Malaysian government to investigate the church bombings and to prosecute the perpetrators of this religiously motivated violence," said Leonard Leo, chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, an independent federal agency that makes recommendations to Congress and the president regarding how to handle violations of religious freedom around the world.

"There are many parts of the world where Christians do use the world 'Allah' in their translations of the Bible," he told CNN in a telephone interview. "So the Malaysian Supreme Court ruling that overturns the government's ban on the use of the word is not inconsistent with what the practice would be elsewhere around the world. The Malaysian ban is what's unusual, not the court's ruling."

Stamping on cows head, because ordinary human wants to build place of worship on land reserved for elite tribe on planet earth. Ordinary humans guilty for instigating emotion of elite tribe.

Unsheathe the keris to threaten because ordinary humans do not respect privileges accorded to elite tribe on planet earth. Ordinary humans guilty for instigating emotion of elite tribe.

Fire bomb church because ordinary human used copyrighted word for elite tribe on planet earth. Ordinary humans guilty for instigating emotion of elite tribe.

Members of elite tribe in short span of time can build million ringgit mansion and holiday in Disneyland, Some elite tribe members can even throw ordinary human out of window and even explode them.

Elite tribe promote not based on merits or qualification but one is member of elite tribe. Elite tribe even sent a member into space and moon to experiment on roti canai so that ordinary humans will kowtow to elite tribe. However elite tribe contribute zero to humanity and to planet earth. Elite tribe principle on racism and corruptions.

Elite tribe now wants tribe language for maths and science to forward the country. However elite tribe must adopt ordinary human language ie akdemi, institusi etc etc. Wonder if the church can sue for elite tribe for using ordinary human language as elite tribe has protested with fury the used of their tribal language in calling the almighty by ordinary humans.

Elite Tribe Boleh !!!!

Thus have I heard, the word MAN comes from an ancient Indian (Pali) word MANO. I also believe that's how MANUSIA originated. And MANO means mind.
Man is capable of being a highest angel or god or the lowest of demons, depending on how his mind is being shaped. Yes, the destiny of MAN is firmly in his own hands and no amount of praying or chanting to whatever ENTITY is going to do any good if man's mind is contaminated with defilements of GREED, HATRED and DELUSION. Purify the mind of these defilements and PEACE is assured.

I suggest Malaysians offer donations for the rebuilding of those churches.

As far as Malaysians go, I trust we are all generous people. There would be no problem raising the funds for it. BUT ... not before the perpetrators of these dastardly acts are brought to bear the full brunt of the law! The Govt must show us that action first. We must INSIST on that of the govt. That is the very least the govt MUST do --- to combat criminals.

You make sense by saying positively ..." We must speak up for peace and justice for all, and encourage others to leave organizations that are entrenched in racial and religious hatred."

I noticed you have refrained from using the the ARABIC forbidden A- word too.
You instead used the ,,, " Universal God of Humanity " to grant us Mercy and Compassion !

CLIFFORD COONAN
FOUR churches have been firebombed in Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, after religious tensions were ratcheted up over the use of the word “Allah” in Malay to describe the Christian God.

Many Malay Muslims, who make up 60 per cent of the country’s population of 28 million, are outraged by the High Court’s decision which overturns a ban on Roman Catholics using “Allah” as a translation for God in the Malay-language edition of their main newspaper, the Herald .

The newspaper is mainly read by tribespeople in the Borneo island states of Sabah and Sarawak, who speak only Malay and have for decades referred to God as “Allah”, an Arabic word used not only by Muslims but also by Christians in Muslim-majority countries such as Egypt, Syria and Indonesia. The government says the term is exclusive to the Muslim faith and by extension to Malays. Many Malaysian Muslims say its use by others would mislead people, tempting them to convert to Christianity.

Maintaining the delicate balance between the majority Malay Muslim population and the minority ethnic Chinese and Indian populations who practise a range of religions including Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism, has always been a challenge in Malaysia.

While many Indians and Christians are fearful of being overwhelmed by the majority religion, the various religious and ethnic groups have largely lived in peace since the country experienced deadly race riots in 1969.

Home minister Hishammuddin Hussein sought to calm fears and said the country’s leaders were concerned about the situation.

“We don’t want this to spread out into something else . . . I am not only assuring the minorities, I am assuring all Malaysians – anybody who is in Malaysia – that they are safe,” he said.

There have been plenty of threats, anti-Christian rhetoric and vitriol on the internet since the verdict, but the firebombings mark a new escalation in the controversy.

The first attack saw the office on the ground floor of the Metro Tabernacle Church, a three-storey building, destroyed by a firebomb thrown by attackers on motorcycles. The area reserved for worship was undamaged. Three other churches were attacked subsequently, with one place of worship sustaining minor damage while the others were undamaged. No arrests have yet been made.

WE MADE WORLD NEWS ARE WE NOT A PROUD NATION.

This is an act of a vile and desperate government. Stirring up these mad fanatics can easily go out of control.
It would only be appropriate for the Muslims religious leaders to apologies for the conduct of these few crazy fanatics. This will also teach those fanatics that what they have done is wrong.

Is Malaysia a terrorist country ?
R we turning into Zimbawee ?
Is our beloved PM being forced into becoming a Mgabee ?
Is he willingly being one?
Najib be brave and SAVE ONE MALAYSIA with Action not words.
What is happening will not win U any votes but is counter productive to u.
U will lose East Malaysia if u carry on this way and then what will happen ?
U have to BUNGKUS TIKAR.
Who are your advisors anyway ?
Do listen too much to them - u r not unintelligent . Make moves only after careful thought.
Not every one in your party is for u. Every one wants to climb, sometimes if they are too old and cannot climb they will create opportunities for their off springs to climb.
Look at S'pore. Put in a monkey first and groom your off spring and when he is ready put him there.
Remember politics is making the impossible possible.
i believe that hidden hand also put u where u r today after the hidden hand found the chinaman before u
disobedient.
U have a little more clout than the chinaman so the hidden hand is planning a round about way to goring u. BEWARE !!!

Dear Doc,

I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE TITLE.
If it's the Devil who was guilty, then just punish the DEVIL.
But if it's humans who did it, then Punish the HUMAN !!!

Putting all blame on the Devil assumes that Humans are "innocent",
and that "He made me do it.." This ploy is always employed by criminals, rapists, and murderers. They claim temporary insanity, and delusional defense.

If we allow people to always blame the "Whipping Boy", then all Jails will shut down...

Just my 2 Rupiah....
Peace Bro

Let us all as decent Malaysians voice out our indignation on all this that is happening. Let all decent Muslims make their stand, and their voice heard in outrage against blatant disrespect for places of worship. Let not a few tarnish the image of Islam. Let not these bad apples pull down the image of Muslims everywhere.

Let us all stand for something, or we will all stand for nothing

The whole world is watching
