(mStar Online) - Pemimpin-pemimpin parti pembangkang sedia mempertahankan hak mereka jika disaman oleh bekas Pengerusi Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR), Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman.
Jelas mereka, Abdul Rashid mempunyai hak untuk berbuat demikian jika benar dakwaannya semalam bahawa beliau sering difitnah oleh pemimpin pembangkang sepanjang menerajui suruhanjaya itu.
Ketua Penerangan Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Tian Chua menyambut baik hasrat Abdul Rashid itu kerana baginya tuduhan yang dilemparkan terhadap SPR selama ini mempunyai asas yang kukuh.
"Memang kita anggap beliau tak dapat jalankan tugas sebagai Pengerusi SPR dengan profesional dan adil.
"Beliau seringkali mengeluarkan kenyataan yang mempunyai unsur politik," katanya kepada mStar Online.
Tambah beliau sepanjang Abdul Rashid menerajui SPR, terdapat banyak kelemahan sewaktu mengendalikan pilihan raya hingga melahirkan rasa tidak puas hati banyak pihak.
"Begitu banyak kelemahan SPR, hingga kita terpaksa menganjurkan perhimpunan BERSIH bagi menggesa SPR menjalankan proses pilihan raya dengan telus dan berkesan," katanya.
Menurut ahli Parlimen Batu itu, Abdul Rashid mempunyai hak untuk mengemukakan saman kepada sesiapa sahaja dan baginya, beliau sentiasa bersedia menghadapi apa jua tuduhan.

i want to sue you for threatening to sue others. as in your previous position, you were a govt servant and open to scrutiny to ensure that you are doing your job without fear and favor.

Hmmm..... please sue the leaders of the DAP, PKR and PAS. (Note aside: too often we continue to conveniently lump them together as 'the Opposition'. I will not do that, as they ARE the govt in 5 states, so we must be careful who we label as 'Opposition')
And there must be a recording of what was said at those meetings with Rashid. Yes, someone somewhere has probably made a recording and when the time is right, bring it out and shame the Ratshit until he has got no place to hide his face.

orang Islam yang menerima wang yang tidak halal ini telah melakukan dosa besar terhadap Ajaran Allah.

Rashid, once you are out from the government regime, you become a NOBODY. Don't expect your former bosses goons come running to your help. The goons are too busy with the Trengganu election, you are no longer involved in the coming election, you are no more a VIP, you got that!!That is how these goons treat Mahathir eversince he retires...
