It has come as a very disappointing news to many people in Sabah (most of whom voted to keep your BN coalition in power in the 2008 Election) when you asked Sabahans to 'sacrifice' by accepting the DIRTY, ENVIRONMENTALLY UNFRIENDLY COAL power plant.
http://www.savesandakan.com/najib-accept-dirty-coal/
You yourself said in Kuala Lumpur only 2 weeks ago to TNB that you did not like the current energy policy, and even went so far as to say that “It’s not right.” With regard to coal, you have rightly said that “coal is what we call DIRTY technology, it’s NOT environmentally friendly,”
http://www.savesandakan.com/najib-coal-is-dirty/
Yet, only about a week later, you come to ask the people of Sabah to “sacrifice”, to accept DIRTY coal!
We are deeply puzzled by your inconsistent, self-contradictory stand. We hope that your speech to TNB is not (as some have sinisterly argued) just a public relations gimmick to push for ‘renewable’ nuclear technology. We still would like to believe that your administration is committed to REDUCE the use of coal in the country’s electricity generation – starting from Sabah.
We wish to reiterate that those who oppose the use of coal in Sabah is NOT opposed to the building of more power plants, as you have been clearly misinformed when you said “But, if not we won’t have any power. Our people must decide you want power at the same time you don’t want the power plant. You want the plant somewhere else, not in your own backyard.”
http://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news.cfm?NewsID=68713
All we want is the use of clean, environmentally friendly and renewable energy sources which do not pose a threat to public health, such as natural gas from our own Kimanis or even hydro-power from Bakun and elsewhere in Sabah itself.
When you said “First, it was to be built in Lahad Datu but the people there objected and then moved to Sandakan but the people there also objected so lastly in my capacity as the Minister of Felda I decided to build it in a Felda area. Its okay,” surely it proves that you KNOW FULL WELL about the fierce objections of Sabahans to the proposed coal power plant. So, WHY does your administration still push it down our throats?
If the Federal Government is genuinely ‘committed’ to solving Sabah’s electricity shortage, then the best thing would be to tap the energy sources which are available in Sabah itself, such as the natural gas which is being exported by your Federal Government to Sarawak, and the huge hydro-power potential in Sabah, such as the Liwagu river.
Alternatively, if the Federal Government is so genuinely ‘committed’, then at the very least your administration should procure the supply of hydro-power from Bakun, Sarawak – at least in exchange for the natural gas we are exporting to them – instead of trying to sell the Bakun hydro-power to West Malaysia, Brunei and even Indonesia.
You have rightly said that Sabah is Barisan Nasional’s ‘fixed deposit’ state which the BN coalition could rely on for support. We have returned your coalition to power in Sabah – in virtually all Parliamentary and state seats, while West Malaysians have begun to abandon your coalition. We did this because we trusted that BN would reward and repay our loyalty with genuine efforts to solve our problems.
You have said that “Sabah continued to get the Federal Government's attention because it can be seen that its support to the BN is getting stronger by the day.”
http://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news.cfm?NewsID=68714
We will only believe this is true by your actions, not just words. Yet, to our great disappointment, you have asked us to sacrifice – unnecessarily.
WHY do we have to sacrifice if we HAVE ALTERNATIVES, such as Kimanis Gas which is being exported by the Federal Government to Sarawak, and Bakun hydro from Sarawak which is being exported to Brunei, Indonesia and West Malaysia via undersea cable? And why do we have to IMPORT "dirty, environmentally not friendly" coal from Indonesia instead?
Is this 'sacrifice' fair to Sabahans? Why doesn't the Federal Government ask Sarawak to 'sacrifice' by giving back OUR Kimanis Gas, or ask the West Malaysians, Bruneians and Indonesians to 'sacrifice' by giving up Bakun hydro-power for Sabah, or ask TNB to 'sacrifice' some of their profits by using safer and cleaner energy sources, so that SABAH can use them for electricity??
Is this the way BN rewards its 'Fixed Deposit', 'Blue' State like Sabah?!
Dear PM, the time has come for the BN/Federal Government to ask NOT what Sabah can do for BN/Federal Government, but what the BN/Federal Government can do FOR Sabah.
We trust that you would do the right thing for Sabah. Thank you.

Loji Tenaga Kimanis Dijangka Selesai Masalah Elektrik Di Sabah
-NST

Yup, that's so becoming of us even though we were the only bloody State, after Kelantan, to be an OPPOSITION State way before we even heard of the PKR.
Good old Anwar, leader of our (now 20 years on) much praised PKR, was the DPR of Malaysia right alongside mamakthir and the rest of our beloved Malaya UMNO government all merrily holding hands and singing 'rasa sayang' while dishing out Malaysian citizenship to over two millions migrant workers Philippinoes & Indonesians, with a smattering of India & Pakistani Indian thrown in for good measures.
That, of course, diluted our (about) one million Sabahan votes. But hell, who cares; right? Our Malayan people (which includes over ninety percent in MT) didn't give a shit for Shit us nor do they care. Come to think of it, all was well in good old prosperous Malaya and every Malayan was merrily singing 'rasa sayang' with the whole UMNO gang.
So, now, that brings up an interesting question.
If we Sabahans deserved to be call all those shitty names, what should be call those Malayan States who have NEVER EVER become an opposition held state for over FIFTY LONG FUKING YEARS??
Ang suggestions from you..... ehhh..... more advanced, sophisticated and better educated Malayans???

We Sabahans ONLY voted to become the ONLY other Malaysian State, after Kelantan, to become an opposition state back in the '80s when we STILL had people's power.
So, 'ma'alish', we Sabahans are "morons" like ALL the other Malayan States who HAVE NEVER EVER kicked UMNO out, but vote them back into power again, and again, and again, and again....and yet again! Exactly like a mindless and brain dead Bolehsian!...ga ga ga ga...kekekekek!

I keep saying Sabahan should be insulted to be called 'Fixed Deposit' in the first place because Sabahan don't owe UMNO/Peninsular anything whereas UMNO/Peninsular owes Sabahans and keep drawing from it even though they are already in debt...
Why don't such a basic principle also Sabahans don't understand? No wonder UMNO has basically made Sabahan their bitches...
written by jokersland, November 21, 2009 14:00:31
We in Peninsular are more fortunate to have 3 decent meals on our table compare to most of our friends in Sabah & Sarawak. Even a decent meal a day will be considered a luxury to most of them. What is more important is for us to give them more moral support for a better future. Most of them are still ignorant on how the BN elites had pludered their state vast wealth.
Thank you and my sincere apology if I've offended anyone.

PM has agreed to award another water service contract for schools worth more than RM200million to west malaysia "Az***" company via direct negotiation. Source mentioned that this project related to family members of the Bank Negara. Can anyone out there to confirm?
Earlier PM and FM2 mentioned that semua projek adalah untuk tender....but now...the projek given to west malaysia company and not to local Sabahan and Sarawakian. *SIGH*.
Do not dream that PM will take can of the power shortage in Sabah!!!

Our states are better off than yours and doing much more than just spout rhetoric. We voted in the Opposition, and although we still ahve some ways to go to unseat Barsian Najis at the Federal level thanks ot Barisan Najis slaves morons like you in Sabah who have kept a corrupt regime in power, we shall overcome eventually.
At least we have the state administration we want, unlike Sabah who is wholly under the yoke of Barisan Najis and the Utterly Moronic Nazi Organization. Sabahans, have you no more b@lls to stand up and be counted, or are you so satisfied with the crumbs laced with coal tar that Barisan Najis has strewn on the ground for you to lick up ??

The Sabah government, whether led by a Muslim or Non-Muslim leader will still be the same if he is from a BN coalition party. You want good governance, you ask your fellow Sabahans to vote out umno/bn, period. Muslim or non-muslim is not the issue.

Btw, Najib. You have a facebook and a Twitter. I'm not surprise if those group in FB will bombard you with their comments on your Wall. Make sure you read all of them involving the coal-power plant.
To the admin and Super-admin. Sorry for the strong cussing. I had enough of them of talk craps about Sabah. They think their state is all good and well but in fact they have in-house quarrels behinds those govt walls.

Serve you Sabahans right ! This is the Barisan Najis you voted into power and the Najis Rosak that you so slavishly supported ! They will rape you and kick you in the balls, and since that has proven to work with Sabah, why not continue to do so ?!!
After all, with your "Slave to Barisan Najis" mentality, what more do you deserve ?? I am waiting for this Sabah "worm" to turn for too long already. Sabahans must be really stupid and myopic to continue supporting Barisan Najis, until the black smoke from the coal coats your lungs and you die choking from asphyxiation ! If Sabahans don't wake up and start fighting for themselves, the end is nigh !!

Don't be fickle-minded. If you are against using coal, then you should have persuade TNB and SESB.
So, stop sacrificing us by feeding us to the wolves.
