More than 30 years ago back in 1987, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a.k.a. Ku Li said the day that Umno loses power will be the day that the non-Malays and the republican Malays will push for the abolishing of the monarchy and for Malaysia to be turned into a republic.

They will also want Islam to be removed as the religion of the federation and for all religions to be given equal status. They will then want Bahasa Malaysia to be removed as the national language and for Mandarin to be given equal status to the national language.

That day, as Ku Li predicted, has now arrived. Now guess what happens next.
