When the Chinese call you a racist
In fact, Chinese educationists say Malaysia’s education system began to deteriorate after Mahathir became Prime Minister and Anwar became the Education Minister. This is not what I am saying. This is what the Chinese educationists say. So, go ask them. And then come back and tell me you need Chinese schools because Mahathir, Anwar and Muhyiddin messed up Malaysia’s education system.

The Chinese are beginning to respond to my article, MUSLIMS ALWAYS SELF-DESTRUCT, as I expected them to. And they responded in the manner that I expected them to as well. And this is good because they are doing precisely what I want them to do.
The many comments from Chinese readers (all of which I deleted just to piss them off and also because they demonstrated a lack of decorum in the way they talk to me) are more or less all the same. They call me a racist. They say I am anti-Chinese. They say I am not pure Malay but of mixed blood. They remind me that my wife is Chinese and my children half-Chinese.

They have been responding that same way to my articles which they consider anti-Chinese for many years — racist, anti-Chinese, not pure Malay, wife Chinese and children half-Chinese. That is all they can say.
When Chinese insist on Chinese language schools and Chinese language education, they get very angry when Malays call them racists. They resent being called racists and say they only want to uphold their language and culture. More importantly, the standard of education in Chinese schools is far higher than in government schools. So, they need these Chinese schools to guarantee a far higher level of education.
Well, Pakatan Harapan is now the federal government. Hence, they can reform the government schools and government education system to bring them up to a higher level that can satisfy the Chinese. Then they can close down all Chinese schools since the government schools will now be as good as the Chinese schools. No more excuses about needing Chinese schools because their level is higher than government schools. And if Chinese kids want to learn Mandarin, they can do it after school hours, like Malay kids who learn to read the Qur’an.

I, for one, will agree with the Chinese argument that the Malaysian education system is very bad. When I was in school in the 1950s and 1960s, the education system was pretty good. A form 5 student of the 1950s and 1960s was far better than a university graduate today. After that, the whole system started going downhill. As Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said recently, Malaysians are uneducated. And this is mainly because of the bad Malaysian education system.
In 1974, Mahathir was the Education Minister. In 1986, Anwar Ibrahim was the Education Minister. In 2009, and then again in 2013, Muhyiddin Yassin was the Education Minister. Now tell me, where are Mahathir, Anwar and Muhyiddin today? If it was these three people, amongst others, who screwed up Malaysia’s education system (which means you need Chinese schools because of this) can we not say Pakatan Harapan messed up Malaysia’s education system? And since Pakatan Harapan is the cause of Malaysia’s bad education system, how can the problem become the solution?

Anyway, back to the issue of the day. Chinese call me a racist because I uphold Malay nationalism. Nationalism is NOT racism. Do they not teach you that in your Chinese schools? Racism is when you think your race is superior to other races.
For example, many Chinese post comments saying that without the Chinese migrating to Malaysia since the 1800s, the country would still be a jungle and Malays would still be living in trees. It is because of the smart and hard-working Chinese that Malaysia prospered. The Malays are not smart or hard-working and need crutches such as the NEP to survive.
Have you read that comment? It has been repeatedly posted these last few years. In short, the Chinese are saying they are better or more superior to the Malays (which is why Malaysia is great). Now, that is racism. Malays do not think they are better than the Chinese. So how can we be racists? In fact, many of us think Malays are pretty stupid. Even Mahathir thinks so. And he cried during one Umno annual assembly because he was sad that the Malays are stupid.

No, nationalism is NOT racism. Mahathir does not want to buy from China. When Najib Tun Razak bought from China, Mahathir accused him of selling the country to the Chinese. Does that make Mahathir an anti-Chinese racist? If Mahathir is an anti-Chinese racist why did 98% of the Chinese vote for him? Surely it cannot be because Chinese are stupid.
Chinese are trying to shame the Malays so that they will not support Malay nationalism. No one wants to be called a racist. That would be like being called a pariah. So, they shame you by calling you a racist so that you will not support Umno and will instead support Pakatan Harapan.
Those who support Pakatan Harapan are liberals. Those who support Umno are racists. That is how the game is played. And many stupid Malays fall for that line. And that is because, as Mahathir said, Malaysians are uneducated. And Mahathir, Anwar and Muhyiddin were amongst those Education Ministers who made Malaysians uneducated.
