(MMO) – Barisan Nasional (BN) would implement Terengganu’s hudud enactment if the coalition retains the state in the general election, according to caretaker mentri besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman.

In a report by the Malaysiakini news portal, Ahmad Razif said his administration was not against enforcing the Islamic penal code.

“God willing, the Terengganu government has no problem with it.

“When we succeed (in the general election) later, god willing, we will implement hudud on Terengganu soil,” he reportedly told students at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin in Kuala Terengganu yesterday.
