Crisis in Umno getting worse, says Anwar

(The Star) - The resignation of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed indicates a worsening of the crisis in Umno and Barisan Nasional, said Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The internal problem of the party was deteriorating beyond any hope of recovery, and the welfare of Malaysians was being neglected, he said in a statement.

He added that Malaysians must avoid being trapped by personal agendas to replace leaders.

PKR president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the whole issue was just about Umno’s internal politics and it showed that Umno had no direction.

“We, however, welcome it if it makes our party stronger and they (Umno members) are also welcome to join us,” she said.

In Ipoh, Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin said Dr Mahathir was being unfair to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah in leaving Umno so suddenly.

Crisis in UMNO? There is no crisis, paklah says so, semuanya OK...it is only a side-show by Mahathir to eclipse his own crisis....but Anwar, when is the right time to take over the nation? We are waiting impatiently!

If this is so, then make sure place them under 'quarantine' first to make sure they are free of the UMNO virus.

BN members who really care for the country and its people and not self centred or promoting self interest should really considered leaving BN and join one of the component party of PR. Can now easily see that BN is infested with self interest only and not for the rakyat. Leave and be of real service to rakyat.

- Mahathis was seen as a trouble maker since day one. He screwed us to the limit and now screwing himself too.

While this is an opportunity for Pakatan Rakyat to get nearer to its dreams of forming the next government, its leader should remember that the rakyat has rejected the whole scum-infested party and a great number of the sampah in the UMNO dustbin. So the PR leaders' call for UMNO lost boys and girls to join them is actually sending a signal to the electorate that it is all about getting into power that matters and the rakyat's hatred of the thieves of our national fortune can be ignored . If this is the direction taken by PR, it will ultimately end up sleeping with the enemies who have been plundering our wealth . We have just given PR a chance to prove itself. It will not get another chance if it cohorts with Parti Keris. Look for members from Sabah & Sarawak as they also hate the tyrants who have been short-changing them for a long time. DSAI, do not betray us at this juncture.

UMNO will implode under the weight of its own stupidity and ego centric leaders. Won't be too long. The writing is already on the wall and when that happens, we will be in real danger of getting a clean and fair Government which works for all Malaysians.

TDM was so mad with Faklah bcos he didnt keep his promises!Faklah promised not to reveal the judicial crisis but at that time,how the hell Faklah knew that there was a man called the -65 -cents-man (Loh Kok Pun)whom possess the VK lingam Video-clip,and later fell into DSAI's hand?
Wat a coincidence,God is great,God is great,God is great,now TDM is caught with his pants down!
So everybody knows that the other 5 buggers 'terang-2 cakap bohong' in the court!didnt they swear that they will tell the truth,the whole truth, nothing but the truth?prosecute them for telling lies! and if the AG refused to charge them,the whole team of PR's MPs will have to remove this puppet AG!
