You can’t really compare our so called NS with Singapore's NS. Ours is a half baked, ill planned and money spinning idea run by incompetent, irresponsible, power crazy and mentally distorted officers. All for the sake of UNITY by a government that practices racial segregation, create disharmony and keep Malaysians divided so that they can rule the land Mafia-style and make money for the elite few.

What do expect from totally incompetent NS directors to trainers, to camp commandants, to panel doctors and health care workers, to food providers, to programme planners, to emergency personnels, to toilet cleaners, to bus drivers, to country governing politicians; all are totally incompetent and inhumane, when it comes to treating our youngsters. 16 deaths is not a normal joke!!! How come no heads were chopped? I suggest Najib be the first to take the God-damning responsibility for the deaths of our precious young lives!! In October 2003, Singapore Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean answered to Parliament.

The SAF suspended the CST immediately after the incident. Four officers and a senior specialist who conducted the training were immediately suspended, two instructors responsible for supervising the training relieved of duty and the CO relieved from command. In short, heads rolled for the “extremely serious lapse in the conduct of the training”.


The BIG difference between Singapore and our Malaysia is that people in Singapore are held accountable, Heads roll. The Defence Minister had to answer in Parliament, with succinct details, and then have to state what corrective actions will be taken to ensure that it will not happen again.

Malaysia? Ha, a joke. Our Defence Minister is only interested in carrying on, business as usual. Emphasis on 'business'. So far, he has not even provided details of the recent death of the girl, what happened, who was reponsible. He did not bother to even have investigations. Just take the camp officers word for it. Don't we need to verify and investigate any deaths? Even when a person die of old age, a police report has to be made, and then only a death certificate is given. In each of the 16 cases, were police sent to investigate? Any of the camp COs ever suspended or relieved of their duties?

So, how many more kids need to die for your business, Mr Defence Minister, before you think there is a problem?

Food catering contract at RM50 per day per trainee. And sub sub-contract to RM12. Any wonder the summer camp kids are dying like flies. Minor issue.... some dying kid, UMNO warlords need their summer vacations (Paris, London, Zurich... ).

While we know lee lam thye is a true patriot of the country, those working with him are NOT. They are all taking advantage of his honest and lenient advise to make quick profits from all the contracts and sub sub contracts in the NS scheme.
Thats the reason that Najis said earlier this week that the NS scheme involves too many people. Yes, too many people who are the suckers and running dogs of this idiotic scheme that is clearly being revealed to be a scheme to fill the coffers of those well connected . The scheme is to all intent and purposes designed as an alternative source of income for those who missed out on those mega projects of yesteryear.

The people of Malaysia and the parents of the children who died under National Service training are adamant to know the beneficiaries of contracts given out under this program.

We would like the Minister of Defense, Mr.Lee Lam Thye and the Director-General of our NS Training Department to publish a concise report on all tenders awarded so far.

It would be appropriate if Pakatan Rakyat MP's could table this issue in Parliament. We deserve to know the real reasons for those untimely death of our beloved children. Children have reported being fed meat only once a week and some of their daily assortment of dishes were undercooked.

We want answers, and we want it NOW !!!

Much like Israel and Taiwan, the national service in Singapore is military training for national defence and restricted to the boys only.

Malaysians send their children to summer camps and we can more deaths from those than military camps.

In Spore,their NS is PROPERLY run,they DON'T abuse their trainees,hav Good infrasturture.,adequate water,n NO RASUAH.....ALL BCOS THEIR LEADERS R CLEAN N COMPETENT.
Here in MSIA a country being run by MAFIA's n CORRUPT IDIOTS,our NS trainees don't even hav adequate water,eat contaminated food,sick also left for dead until too late.

Just because we call it NS, does not mean its anywhere the same thing. Singapore NS is about actual necessary National military defense - life and death of its citizens and soveriegnity at stake there which justify some tolerance a min lost of life. Our program, even if you stretch its meaning to include some national civil defense meaning is far far from the different in need and ability to achieve - it does not justify even severe injuries much less loss of life.

There are people getting rich because of the Malaysia NS Program. Bullocks that it is for National Unity as we have the schools and the Rakan Muda programs to do that a well as other activities such as Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Red Cresent, etc. Just look and you will see they are cronies that get the contracts for managing the camps, the food and the uniform supply for each NS term (this belongs to the wife of someone high up who loves to play with C4 so I heard). How not to get rich?

Do you guys know that some of the trainers are actually volunteer school teachers? I know of one that most willingly offer his service, just to gain extra income and also to escape his teaching responsibilities. When his students' performance (in Science 'cos he is a Science teacher) is not to expectation, he starts blaming it on the children for not being attentive or focus in class. He is the only qualified Science teacher in the whole school (I mean majoring in Science); there rest are those who cannot even speak proper English and yet always being picked (by our brainless Jabatan Pendidikan) to attend "Khusus" without proper substitute or replacement arranged. "Cikgu ganti" that comes into the class would either tell the kids to "buat kerja sendiri" or " teach some other subject. Top students in that school performs well simply not from the effort of the school but from the effort of either the kids themselves (who do self studies) or parents (who can afford) that sent their kids to private tuition classes. As for my son, his results was from the dedicated attention and time that my sister had contributed in coaching him.

Here, there are 2 issues arising: 1. why the approval was given the teacher to volunteer? 2. for the Science and Maths (being taught in English, it will be very very good if our education minister is able to explain in detials what did your Ministry do to ensure the success of the 2 subjects being taught in English. It was a good move to change the teaching medium to English but by just switching and miserably giving "khusus" to your under-qualified teachers, do not just open your bloody mouth and say it is not successful and need to switch it back to Malays medium. Don't main main with the future of our children (future pillars of the nation).

Then again, back to NS, don't play wayang kulit. You want it, then give us professionals, not stupid irresponsible primary school teachers or someone no better than that. LLT, I am so disappointed in you. You used to be my idol but you have changed. Why? Is it because of age or money, you are now so "chicken"?

If we really want to do the PLKN we should follow other countries do, etc. S’pore, Thailand, Germany. They serve 2 full years in the army. They stay in the army camp and wear army uniform. After completed the service they continue their study or the can opt to joint the army. This is they build the discipline and patriotism. 3 months in the camp would not do anything. Any program created by UMNO/BN only the objective for money. Who got the project for uniforms, food, lodging/camps, transports ????. How about the instructors ???.
If these people put 2 years in the army, you can save lots of taxpayer money. No need to rent the camps, pay the instructors and allowance, pay the bus operator to ferry the trainee. PLKN sould be scrap. Hopefully when PR form the next fed govt. this program shall be kick out. Put these boys in the army camp as other country.

I te;; you the aim is not national unity. If so, the purpose would be beter serve in primary and secondary schools. Why do it when they are eighteen? Schools already have moral classes and civic classes three or four times a week. Its all aboutmaking money. Its always the same. Create an issue and get rich feom that. Do you know that some of these camps were previously industrial sites left vacant when business slowed? Owners can't rent it out. So the payer tells the owner to charge 400,000 a month then quietly pay back the payer about 150,000. That's monthly my friends. Just subpoena a few owners and ask them. You'll get the proof.

5. Bumi medical graduates
6. Transporters
