No, Karpal Singh was not disrespectful to Islam. Karpal Singh is as ‘Islamic’ as they come. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims would not do. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims should have done.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

'Karpal disrespectful to Islam'

IPOH: Insulting the Malay rulers is tantamount to being disrespectful to Islam, said Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria.

He said this was because the Federal Constitution had stated that the sultans, or rulers, and the King are the heads of Islamic affairs.

"DAP chairman Karpal Singh, in questioning the authority of the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah, was disrespectful to the Federal Constitution.

"As a citizen of the country, Karpal had been disloyal to the rulers and hurt the feelings of the Malays," he said.

Harussani said although the Bukit Gelugor Member of Parliament had a right to talk about laws, the Sultan had the power over religious matters and it was a sensitive issue to the Malays.

"The various ethnic groups in Malaysia live in peace and harmony and the action by Karpal would only anger the rakyat," he said. (The New Straits Times)

Govt decides to retain ISA without any amendment

The government reiterated Wednesday that the Internal Security Act (ISA) has to be retained, not for any political purpose but as a preventive measure to curb and handle activities threatening national security.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said that as such the government had decided to retain the ISA in toto without any change despite pressure from certain quarters including the Opposition.

"Malaysia is a cosmopolitan country comprising various races, religions and cultures, and this law has to be retained to thwart any threat before it emerges. As such, for the moment, the government has no plan to abolish the ISA," he said when winding up debate for his ministry on the motion of thanks for the royal address in the Dewan Rakyat.

Records show that the ISA had been used to contain threats posed by militant terrorism, falsification of Malaysian travel documents, smuggling by illegal immigrants, spying by foreign agents operating in Malaysia, and racial extremism.

Syed Hamid said detention under the ISA was not aimed at penalising but to rehabilitate the detainee.

He also said that the ISA was not a draconian law because it did not deny the detainee his or her fundamental rights.

Syed Hamid said the ISA had helped the country thwart activities threatening national security, which enabled the people to enjoy peace, economic growth and intensive development. (Bernama)

*************************************************

It is reported that when Abu Bakar took over as the First Caliph of Islam soon after Prophet Muhammad’s death (S.A.W.), he was asked: how would the people of Medina be assured that he would be a just and righteous leader? It is further reported that in reply to this question, Abu Bakar removed his sword from his person and placed it before him on the floor and then said that if he ever deviated one iota from his duty then they were to take his own sword and end his life.

That was the example of Abu Bakar, the First Caliph of Islam whom Muslims believe was one of the four ‘Rightly-Guided’ Caliphs. And if Abu Bakar is believed to be Rightly-Guided then surely he knows what he is talking about and it can only be God and no other that had guided him. Would Abu Bakar then be wrong in what he said and could he have instead been Wrongly-Guided? No, no Muslim would ever believe Abu Bakar had been Wrongly-Guided. They will swear with their life that Abu Bakar had been Rightly-Guided and that it was no less than God that had guided him.

Abu Bakar was one of the Companions of the Prophet. Muslims believe he can do no wrong and that he had already been assured a place in heaven even before he died. Yet Abu Bakar not only asked the people of Medina to take him to task if he erred. He asked them to take his life with his own sword, the Sword of Islam. Can anyone lesser than Abu Bakar be expected to do less than this? If Abu Bakar should be killed with his own sword if he did not rule justly and righteously, should any lesser fate befall those lesser than Abu Bakar?

This is not what I say. This is what Islam says. And would Islam lie? Would Islam mislead us? Would the Holy Scriptures be in gross error? Abu Bakar should be killed if he was not just and righteous. Abu Bakar is not infallible. Abu Bakar is not perfect. Abu Bakar is only human. And as a mere mortal, as one who can easily err, Abu Bakar wants to suffer execution by his own sword. That is what is expected of a Ruler of the Muslim faith. And would anyone lesser than Abu Bakar be above this First Caliph of Islam?

No, Karpal Singh was not disrespectful to Islam. Karpal Singh is as ‘Islamic’ as they come. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims would not do. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims should have done. Karpal Singh did what the First Caliph of Islam, Abu Bakar, said that God had Rightly-Guided him to do.

Yes, religion comes under the Rulers. The State Mufti is appointed by the Ruler. The State Director of the Religious Department is appointed by the Ruler. But not all men of the cloth are the example of Abu Bakar. Not all Rulers are the epitome of the Four Rightly-Guided Caliphs of Islam. There are amongst them some with the scruples of the scum of the earth.

Some Directors of the State Religious Departments are crooks and scoundrels. RM200 million has disappeared from the Selangor State Religious Department. RM200 million in zakat money collected by the previous government has gone missing. RM200 million in money that Muslims paid in the name of God has passed into the hands of the devil.

Oh how I wish Malaysia practiced the Islamic law of Hudud. How I wish we could cut off both their hands for the crime of stealing RM200 million that Muslims paid in the name of God. No, hand cutting is not enough. Theirs heads should be removed from their shoulders and their bodies left to rot in the sun as an example that anyone who ‘steals from God’ should not be allowed to continue with their miserable lives.

No, taking Rulers to task is not disrespectful to Islam. Taking Rulers to task is the greatest respect one can give Islam. And it needed a man like Karpal Singh to do the Islamic thing. I am a Malay. I am not hurt by what Karpal Singh did. I am happy with what he did. The Directors of the State Religious Departments are not saints. Some have the characteristics of the devil. They must be removed. They steal from God. They should be punished according to the Islamic law of Hudud. Unfortunately this can’t be done.

Now they want to retain the Internal Security Act without any amendments. Who in Parliament voted in favour of this? This goes against Islam. This defies Islam. Islam forbids this. These Parliamentarians who voted in favour of the Internal Security Act are enemies of Islam. These Parliamentarians who voted in favour of the Internal Security Act are the enemies of God. But I will not declare their blood as halal. If I do that then I can be punished under a ‘kafir’ British law called the Sedition Act. But this is not God’s law. This is man’s law. This is a law that allows Rulers to defy God and allows Rulers to violate God’s law.

To insult or defy Rulers goes against Islam, say the men of the cloth. Is this so? Well, then Rosmah, the wife of the Deputy Prime Minister, has committed a serious crime and should be punished. Rosmah phoned His Highness the Sultan of Selangor and scolded him. Rosmah spoke to His Highness the way you would scold a dog that shit on your new carpet.

Rosmah is angry that Raja Petra Bin Raja Kamarudin wrote an article called Let’s send the Altantuya murderers to hell. And Rosmah phoned His Highness the Sultan of Selangor and shouted at him. That is worse than what Karpal Singh did.

Rosmah wants to become the ‘First Lady’ of Malaysia even though the First Lady is the Agong’s consort. But Rosmah has committed treason against the Ruler. 200 years ago Rosmah would have been put to death. Today she will be rewarded with a RM100 million budget to renovate the Prime Minister’s residence in Putrajaya when her husband becomes Prime Minister.

And Raja Petra Bin Raja Kamarudin now challenges Rosmah for her to deny this allegation. Or maybe she would like to make a police report instead. That is what they normally do anyway when they are not able to reply. Porah Rosmah. Please don’t phone my cousin His Highness the Sultan of Selangor. Please don’t shout at my cousin His Highness the Sultan of Selangor. The Perak Mufti said that if you do that then you are disrespectful to Islam. You are only the wife of the Deputy Prime Minister who shall never become the Prime Minister of Malaysia. This quarrel is between you and me. Leave my cousin His Highness the Sultan of Selangor out of it.

Is this country being managed by politicians or their wives? Some made phone calls to the Royalty. Other dissolve their Associations and transfer out the funds in dubious procedures. Now the rakyat not only has to tackle the corrupt Governmet leadership. The fight goes a step further to their wives. What is this? Does Malaysia belong to these politicians and their wives only?

Islam is good, but as long as you have Ameno (UMNO), then the bad image of it will remain. After all, Islam can only be made good by its people not by itself. And knowing that we have Ameno people, then Islam's bad image is here to stay.

It's true though, what happened with Karpal is making remarks and questioning some authority issues on the royalties role. He made no remarks like "natang" or other names.

The sultan of Perak which I respect much, wouldn't even be offended given his maturity and righteousness- it just some politicians playing it up. The mufti should really think again- is he really upholding Islam or just playing dog to his political masters..... What more on the issue of voicing out your opinion to the Ruler. Karpal, perhaps, would have avoided the devil manipulation of the power-that-be, should he choose the right way to ceck the Ruler view. The Ruler felt that he has the right to be consulted while Karpal viewed otherwise. There should be a proper ways both sides of argument. She should be punished and not just a warning and a slap in the wrist! I support the death penalty on her if she is found guilty.

Dear Los mah,

When you start scrambling like that, your guilt shows and you look like Los Mah?

Are you Lost?

You pick a fight and in every fight you must understand there is only ONE winner, otherwise it is not a fight.

Having read Pete for the last 2 years, get to see him in person and knowing understanding his passion for righteousness to prevail in Malaysia, I would not want to pick a fight with him if I am not 100 % sure of my grounds.

Los Mah, you have pick a fight where almost the majority of the learned populace know what is happening without much being said, how are you going to win?

I have a teenage daughter who behaves like Los Mah sometimes. She just can't seem to see the folly and the awful situation they are in before she picks a fight with her bigger brother who is 5ft 10in. He runs and jumps like a antelope. She is only 4ft 8inch. The only thing she knows is to look pretty and exercise her fingers on the keyboard.

Los Mah is no different from the vain gals out there. They are Lost Mah!!!

Dear RPK

Excellent read
You should be the next PM of Malaysia

HUMAN RIGHTS IN ISLAM

Since God is the absolute and the sole master of men and the universe, and since He has given each man human dignity and honor, and breathed into him of His own spirit, it follows that men are essentially the same. In fact, the only differences between them are such artificial ones as nationality, color, or race. Thus, all human beings are equal and form one universal community that is united in its submission and obedience to God.

Human blood is sacred in any case and cannot be spilled without justification. Violating this rule is equivalent to killing all of Humanity.

It is not permissible to oppress women, children, old people, the sick or the wounded. Women's honor and chastity are to be respected under all circumstances. The hungry must be fed, the naked clothed, and the wounded or diseased given medical treatment regardless of their pro- or anti-Muslim sentiments and activities.

Equality Before the Law:
Islam gives its citizens the right to absolute and complete equality in the eyes of the law.

Rulers Are Not Above the Law:
According to the Islamic concept of justice, absolutely no one is above the law, for all men are equal.

Protection from Arbitrary Imprisonment:
Islam states that each individual is responsible only for his own actions. Therefore, he cannot be arrested and imprisoned for the offenses of someone else. We read in the Qur'an: No bearer of burdens shall be made to bear the burden of another.

RPK, becareful of what you utter. You know that the UMNO facts twister are very good and apt at shooting the messenger instead of the wrong doer. They are very good at twisting facts to their favour.

I bet that they will now twist the fact that you have committed sedition and high treason punishable by death by implying that a mighty sultan can be scolded by a common housewife therefore implying that the sultan is subservient to the common housewife.

What the wrong doer physically did is OK but you cannot imply that wrong doer did was wrong as this affects the status of the Sultan negatively.

Pak Lah, I beg, you, please release my son
K Kalaivaniy | May 14, 08 4:17pm
YAB Dato Seri Abdullah Hj Ahmad Badawi,

Dear Mr Prime Minister,

I am the 67-year-old and proud mother of P Uthayakumar one of Hindraf leaders detained by your goodself under the Internal Security Act. I write as the mother of Uthayakumar and on behalf of all Malaysian mothers who have been deprived of the love, care and attention of their sons detained under the ISA.

Only a mother who had raised and nurtured her son would understand the torture of forcefully being separated from him. Like me, there are many other mothers in this country currently being denied to be freely with their sons. On behalf of them, I write to appeal to you as a father figure of this beautiful country to immediately release them.

No mother on earth would condone her son committing an unlawful act and going unpunished but no mother would be able to digest the fact that her son is held for his political beliefs without being charged with any offence.

Like my son, many sons are being held under the law for their political beliefs or held on mere suspicion and without proof that they have committed offences. I wish to state that, like me, many mothers are suffering every day thinking of the uncertainty and unjust punishment and torture their sons are going through.

Many mothers are older than me and their days may be numbered. Every other day in detention is an eternal punishment to the mothers meted out by the country. Dear Prime Minister, let not a single mother leave this earth not being able to cuddle and hug her son for one last time.

I beg you on behalf of all mothers - be he a JI suspect, Hindraf leader or anyone - no mother would want to leave this earthly life with the burden of not speaking to her son one final time. On behalf of all I pray to the Lord Al-mighty to give you the utmost wisdom to see this great unjust committed on our sons.

I beg and appeal to you. Please release them and shut down the Kamunting detention camp

Days later, a group of goons called the Agong a 'natang' and nothing happened to them. This type of charm is simply called nasi kang kang , Ask your bomoh about it , and he will be able to tell you more .

By the way dear ladies I hope I am not insulting you people , this is just disseminating information and I am commenting on a specific case.

And to Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria.

That is the reason why I have all along been against men playing God, men using religion, and quoting verses from the scriptures, for their own nefarious ends.

Now the UMNO goons are using religion(and race) to attack Karpal. How childish and stupid can they get. But the more stupid people are those who fall for such tactics.

I have all along believed that religion is a very private matter, and it has nothing to do with the Government, your rulers, or even your parents. By all means listen to what they have to say, but in the end you will answer to God 100%, and nobody else can answer for you.

IPOH: Insulting the Malay rulers is tantamount to being disrespectful to Islam, said Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria.

The same guy who claimed that there are hundreds of thousands of Murt*** out there. And we have demonstration in front of a church. And then we have Muslims going haywire, warning non Muslims that 13th May will happened again.

The same guy, according to one posting, went to go and ceramah to the ISA detainee and told them that ISA got a basis in Islam. Perhaps he wants those detainees to 'behave' and sign whatever confession that is put in front of them?

You guys judge him.

We have another Mufti who recently question where the Zakat money go.

Kudos!

We have the HRH Sultan of Selangor ordering more funds from the Zakat to assist the poor. http://mstar.com.my/cms/conten...-29438bcc

Raja adil Raja Di Sembah, Raja Zalim Raja Di Sanggah!

No, Karpal Singh was not disrespectful to Islam. Karpal Singh is as ‘Islamic’ as they come. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims would not do. Karpal Singh has done what 15 million Malay Muslims should have done.

And Muslims call Islam as 'way of life'? Fine example of 'cakap saja.'

As anak Selangor I call on all man, women and children of Selangor to urge HRH the Sultan Of Selangor to call her Persona Non Grata never to step on an Selangor soil. This is what The Father of the present HRH Sultan would do. No point reporting to the police. Else we march to her home and park ourself there until Rosmah goes crawling to the Palace to ask HRH the Sultan for forgiveness.

When the UMNO called the Sultan of Trengganu " NATANG" written in black and white . why didn't the Bodohwi called the AG to charge those in Trenggannu ?

Sorry to say that the AG had never been known neutral and Karpal begin an opposition member, I am quite sure that the AG WILL charge him in court which fine Karpal just more than RM 2000 to disqualify as a MP just like what had happened in Bukit Bintang.

Dear Ynag Mulia Raja Petra,

For years I have always told everyone I know that this Malay land must implement laws to execute/imprison the whole family without mercy of those convicted of corruptions and stealing public money meant for the poor unless pardon by the Sultan.

Lets see who dare to put the family at stake. Cruel? Think again.

"The various ethnic groups in Malaysia live in peace and harmony and the action by Karpal would only anger the rakyat," he said. (The New Straits Times)

Most Malay Malaysian knows what YB Karpal meant. No issue here. what I and maybe most muslim dont under is this:

Many who have read the article on the circumcision of Karpal Singh have missed a valid issue behind RPK article. The message that malays should be fools to support UMNO when just after the election zakat funds meant for poor muslims in selangor of almost $200 millions disappeared under the leadership of Khir Toyol. For the poor malays in selangor, this coming ramadan would not be good for them as the "pagar sudah makan padi" Dah habis. Even years ago where I met rich malays businessmen they were critical of the local zakat department of misusing the funds. Instead these people have on their own paid zakat directly to the poor.

Its obvious from whom RPK got this news from if the article is read fully. Its reliability is beyond question just as the rights of the ruler. This issue of the intensity of corruption in selangor which is beyond expectation was also
expressed by the state speaker Teng Chang Khim recently.

It is precisely the above cicumstances that the Sultan through the elders in the council of rulers has been critical of Karpal statement because of the need to have checks and balances to avoid a repeat of the rape of the Selangor
Islamic department resources or the state "IRB". The target is not Karpal but UMNO.

If we review history from all over the world, you'll realized that politician or anybody will manipulated religion to benefit themselves. We as people of faith must learn to analyze things.

How can we tell what's right or wrong? Based upon my own experience, I try to see things from different angle. Thus, you'll need to see things from Pete and Najib prespective. Next you'll have to analyze the information that you can obtained. Then you'll have to use logic to analyze it. Lastly, allow compassion to help you make the decision.

Thus, is it right for Pete to seek justice for Altantuya? Is it right for Karpal Singh makes a statement about the Sultan? Do any of them hurt anybody? Are they seeking clarity or justice? You'll need to see it from their perspective.

Karpal Singh has taught me something important. That's question the leaders regardless of race, religion, political affiliation. We as fellow human beings cannot blindly trust anybody. We can even question if Lim Guan Eng is a saint! Is PAS or DAP truly a good Party? Is UMNO or MCA really that bad? We need to question them all the time. Maybe UMNO is not that bad. Again, do not trust anybody blindly.

That's the beauty of democracy. Nobody is above the law!

Wow, these are real news.

1) According to Karpal, he thinks is right to point out that the MB has the right to sack the Director of state religious dept and the Sultan does not have the legal right to stop the MB from doing so.
2) According to RPK, Karpal should be a treated as a hero for being brave to point out to the Sultan his error.
3) According to RPK, DPM's wife called the Sultan of Selangor and scolded him.

Let's be neutral on these.

For point 1), those who think Karpal is wrong should challenge Karpal in court to prove that he is wrong. If nobody dare to do that, then it means he was right all along.

For point 1), our beloved Sultan of Perak. We all know you are a fair man. Instead of getting him to re-instate the Director of state religious department, why don't you direct the MB to explain to the public why he sack the Director of state religious department? If the reason is not good, then you should direct him to re-instate the director to his former position. If the reason is fair, allow the MB to do his job. If the reason is because the director did something illegal like what RPK has pointed out that some directors did, then get the police to investigate and charge the director if he is found wrong.

For point 2), for those experts in islam who agree with RPK, come forward to support RPK statement. If those experts in islam disagree with RPK, they should also come forward to explain to the public so that they don't stand to be misguided. This is one way to educate Malaysian public on Islam. If none dare, then RPK was right.

For point 3), DPM's wife should sue RPK in the civil court for tarnishing her name. In fact, DPM's wife don't then DPM should sue as a husband. If he do not defend his wife who will. If she is innocent, you got nothing to hide. Besides, you may get financial reward for that and this will serve as lesson to others.

For point 3), Sultan of Selangor should now call for press conference clarify what has been mentioned by RPK. If this is not true, the royal highness should clear DPM's wife name. If this is true, only God can help her and we will wait to see what those defenders of rulers will do next.

There's no greater insult to the rulers - and to Islam - than to convert their states into hotbeds of corruption, to name only one unpardonable sin.

>"DAP chairman Karpal Singh, in questioning the authority of the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah, was disrespectful to the Federal Constitution.]]

What's more disrespectful to the Constitution than to use race and religion to divide the people? To create the artificial categories of bumi and non-bumi???

>... it was a sensitive issue to the Malays.]]

Preserving temples built before there was even a Malaysia is also a sensitive issue to Indian Malaysians, just as the right to build the Mazu temple is a sensitive issue to at least some Chinese Malaysians.

>"The various ethnic groups in Malaysia live in peace and harmony ...]]

Which unfortunately was disrupted when a blinking fool instigated a bunch of hothe*** to physically disrupt a Church service on the basis of an alleged SMS.

The stature of an organization, religious or otherwise, is often gauged by the quality of its leaders. When congenital idiots such as the Karpal critic in the article are put in charge, that stature is diminished beyond redemption. All the King's horses, and all the King's men, cannot put Humpty Dumpty together again unless that frothy low-born dimwit, that puking brain-dead coxcomb, is sacked from his post immediately.

My take on this.

Is RPK telling the truth about Rosmah calling up the Sultan of Selangor and scolding him?

Dear friends and addicts of the forum,

Please note that the Sultan of Selangor is the cousin of our webmaster. Even with Pete's daring, could we even imagine him having the cojones to write slanderous articles against one of our Sultan which also happens to be his relative? Do we have doubts about RPK's allegiance and loyalty to the Monarchy he so dearly held in high esteem? If you have forgotten, this Bugis warrior of ours also has blue blood coursing thru his veins. I also believe that Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj, the Sultan of Selangor might have an inkling that Pete might be privy to the knowledge of the incident and would not mind him writing about it.

Looking at why some of us set our browser's homepage to Malaysia Today, and none here would claim stupidity or ignorance to the reality of our political passing, we should not be asking if this unethical mannerism from a detestable person is true, but how could it have happen to a Royalty? Baffling is the only word I can think of.

We can rest assured that much more would be said of this before the stub on our chin grows long enough to be tweezed, or that the hairs on those long shapely legs need another shaving.

Pak Lah lagi biadap...dalam isu perlantikan MB Terengganu tak lama dahulu....

Sorotan peristiwa:

Appointment as Menteri Besar

Following the ruling party UMNO's return to power over Terengganu after winning 24 out of 32 seats in the 2008 general elections, Prime Minister (PM) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi put forth the reappointment of Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh to began the second term as Menteri Besar. In what political analysts describe as a possible constitutional crisis, trouble began to precipitate after the Sultan of Terengganu, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, who is also current Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia refused to re-appoint and swear in Idris as Menteri Besar.[1] Similar problems occurred in the state of Perlis where the PM's choice was also rejected, in which the latter eventually gave in to its sultan.[2]

Terengganu's sultan appointed Ahmad Said instead for the job, with the Regency advisory Council handing him the letter of appointment. The PM claimed that the appointment of Ahmad Said was unconstitutional as it went against the wishes of the assemblymen and the Prime Minister's office who have supported Idris Jusoh candidacy for Menteri Besar.[3] In spite of threats to strip Ahmad Said of his party membership "for disobeying the leadership", he went to the office in Wisma Darul Iman to begin the first day of his new appointment on 25 March 2008. The party announced earlier that they made good on their promise to remove his membership, which technically disqualifes him to be appointed as Menteri Besar in the first place.[4] The ruling also planned to vote down the sultan's choice through a motion of no-confidence by 22 UMNO state assemblymen. The opposition party Parti Islam SeMalaysia in the meantime promised that its assemblymen would support Ahmad Said as Menteri Besar.......

Today she will be rewarded with a RM100 million budget to renovate the Prime Minister’s residence in Putrajaya when her husband becomes Prime Minister

Return an innocent father to his children
Buvaneswary Balasubramaniam | May 15, 08 4:32pm
I refer to the letter Pak Lah, I beg, you, please release my son.

I am Buvaneswary wife of V Ganabatirau who is among five individuals is being detained under ISA since Dec 13, 2007. It is already five months my husband has been detained under this draconian law. Yesterday’s Federal Court decision was so disappointing not only to me but to the entire Indian community.

I am 32 years old with two young children. Prior to his detention, my children were also affected. My elder one who is three years old often dreams about her father and cries in her sleep. She keeps calling for her father to take her to the playground. She is confused over her father’s arrest. I have to lie to my daughter that he is ‘in school’ and will be back with us soon.

My younger one is about only eight months old now. If the prime minister goes on his way, my children are going to lose their father’s attention for an even longer period of time. My worry for now is will my children still remember their father once he is out some day?

For the past one month, my husband has been suffering from pain due to his spinal cord Swelling. I, as an unfortunate wife, can’t even be close to my husband since we are so far from each another. I really thought some positive things would have happened yesterday to end all our grief, yet this black chapter in our lives still continues.

My husband is among one of the young lawyers who was fortunate to be able to further his studies at the right age with appropriate aid. He was helped by all his family members and he himself worked and studied on part-time basis to become an officer of the court.

My husband started his legal firm Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam two years ago. He was the only lawyer in the firm. After he was detained, there is no lawyer now to look after the firm. The firm which he started with his own sweat is in a very difficult situation now.

I do not know when my husband will be released. I strongly believe my husband has selflessly sacrificed a lot in his quest for a better Malaysia not only for Indians but for all Malaysians.

My plea to the government is to please return this innocent father to my children. Please release all the five Hindraf leaders; they are not a threat to the nation, they are only concerned Malaysians.

Sincerely.

I’m here to make a small comment:

Don’t believe everything you read about King ASHBURN. A lot of it were propagandas by certain group to further their agenda just like any political group nowadays.

The best is to study it from all sources and decide.
King ASHBURN was one of those who denied the Messemger his request of pen and paper to write his writ on the future government of Islam, in their present.

Instead the future King and the Group of SIX rejected the Messenger’s request of the ground that the Messenger of GOD was seriously ILL and unable to THINK or DECIDE in an normal manner and therefore considered UNFIT to make a RULING..

Imagine accusing the Prophet of God of TEMPORARY INSANITY!
( I SEEK THE PROTECTION OF GOD FROM THE DEVIL AND HIS COHORTS FOR MAKING SUCH COMMENTS)

IF you think I’m lying, check with all the Hadiths sourcess you like.

That THAT was the beginning of SCHISM in ISLAM that has carried on till today.

Guess who is supporting the American and Jewish policy in weakening ISLAM in the Mid-East. Look at Lebanon now.!

Until now has not read anything. I do not think that HRH the Sultan is that forgiving. At the very least the DPM would have 'meminta ampun' on behalf of his wife. He might even take this opportunity to 'cerai' her as "Insulting the Malay rulers is tantamount to being disrespectful to Islam". How can he has a wife that behave like that.(Golden opportunity to get rid off second hand stuff)

One wonders, has any other VIP wife had so much said about her as this one.

Even the honourable wife of our Tun Dr M, during his long tenure as the Prime Minister, always kept her self-respect intact and was accorded the reverence of the Malaysian people. This inspite of the fact that Dr M had many enemies. That lady is a real lady. She carries herself with quiet dignity and pride that she radiates Class with a capital 'C'.

Even Dr Wan Azizah, the wife of Anwar Ibrahim, at the height of his catastrophe, kept a dignified front. And what about the dignified wives of other past PM's and DPM's and other VIPs.

One never heard of these women screaming, hurling abuse or throwing their weight around whether in private or public. They were powerful women in their own right, but as memory serves, they never did anything to abuse their positions.

Even the Sharizat, when she lost in the election, behaved like a lady and a trooper. Graceful is the word.

Women who are in high positions, either because of their own work, or because they are married to men in high poisitions should strive to maintain poise, pride and decorum. It is expected of them.

Personally I would rather give this one a wide berth. Even PAS is reluctant to engage, but since RPK has taken the bull by the horns, I might as well put in my tuppence worth as well.

It is no accident that UMNO self-appoints itself as the guardian of the Malay Rulers’ dignity. As the guardian, it whacks anyone that dares trespass. Therefore as guardian, UMNO is also above criticism. The hand that protects the dignity of the Malay Rulers can also protect itself. But UMNO is a political party. If it declares itself above criticism, it becomes a dictator automatically, so UMNO self-appoints itself as the guardian of the Malay Rulers’ dignity. By this device it also protects itself against criticism and has full liberty (sedition combined with the ISA) to whack its political enemies.

It is the same with Ketuanan Melayu. By championing Ketuanan Melayu, UMNO ensures that Ketuanan UMNO remains alive and well. And so also with Islam. UMNO has surrounded itself with things that cannot be criticised or questioned. This ensures that UMNO itself remains above criticism. Who dares criticise the guardian of so many things that cannot be criticised or questioned?

UMNO has learnt well from the Jews. The Jews made sure that the Holocaust can never be questioned. To be anti-Semitic in the US is not only political suicide, but also economic suicide. It is worse that being anti-black. By saying this, I am sure a brigade of Zionist defenders will whack me to kingdom come. It is the same story with UMNO. By surrounding itself with things like Ketuanan Melayu, the dignity of the Malay Rulers and Islam, UMNO ensures that it has all the right weapons to whack its political enemies.

But is it really a honest guardian? UMNO has no qualms in changing the constitution to take away some rights of the Malay rulers. It has no qualms in creating a new version of Islam called Hadhari to suit its own purpose. While claiming to protect Malay reserve land, it is willing to sell away the whole of South Johore. Obviously UMNO is hypocritical. It just wants to ensure Ketuanan UMNO.

During DR. M era, the power of Malay Rulers have been humiliating reduced and if compared to what has been highlighted by Karpal Singh, it is nothing to what has been done by Dr. M. Who dared at that time to challenge UMNO? That is what we called Ketuanan UMNO. They place themselve above everyone including the Rulers. They CAN demolish any temple, be it Buddhist or Hindu, at anytime they want. They don't care what we feel. I have personally seen a bulldozer hacking a Buddha statue right in front of so many Buddhist devotee. They can't do anything as it was the INSTRUCTION from the government. That's how shocking and disrespectful of a religion. So, UMNO should stop talking about Karpal Singh which he has only highlighted the law and not religion. They have done the worst towards the RAKYAT and yet, they shown no sign of regret.

Poorah Direspectful!!!!,

When a non Malay critised the Sultan it is disrespecful and worse it is to Islam.
Karpal never meant to insult Islam. Karpal just question the authority in relation the position.

When Malay insult the Sultan, it is that called respect!!! Oh.. Oh... they said for the good of the Sultan as they are protecting the Sultan....

This how UMNO has been playing the issue of Sultan and Ketuanan Melayu. Provoke the Malays over so that the Malays shall feel threatened and unsafe. With such hoping the Malays shall raised and 'amok' the non-Malays and these bloody UMNO leaders shall save their greed. At the end the ordinary rakyat like us shall loose. They shall continue robbing the country hiding behind the Sultan and Ketuanan Melayu.

I called all peace lovers Malaysians, Malays or Non-Malays never ever bite whatever UMNO is playing in the issue of Karpal. They are sinking ship and the crews are trying to survive by holding on whatever left pieces of the wreckage.

But becareful Malays UMNO is trying to create havoc in the country, especially by adding fuel to sensitive issue like this. Be wise as whatever Karpal is saying is just a small matter. It does not hurt the Sultan or the majority of the Malays at all. They hurt the Sultan most and not once but many many times.

These are the UMNO Malays but they are already outnumbered by now. They are the one who have been marginalised and now pretend to protect the sovereignity of the Malays and the Sultan. The mass Malay hate UMNO.

Do not ever be fallen into their trapped. We the Rakyat want peace and do not be dragged into their tactics of threatening the Malays about loosing the Sultan and Ketuanan Melayu and 'amok' the non Malays for challenging the Sultan.

I do not know if my message of calling people for peace like this tantamount to Seditious!!!!

Why is it there are still people who like to equate religion to their rulers? What has their kings, shah's, rajah's, or Amir anything to do with religion? Are they trying to say that God appointed the kings, etc. as their representatives on this Earth, never mind if they had conquered that nation's people and made themselves their rulers?

For me, personally, no kings or emperors represent God, and I will never accept my emperor as God's representative. I will only answer to God personally, and to nobody else.

RPK, boleh minta your cousin file an official complaint/police report on that woman? i sincerely think that she should not be allowed to get away with it. or she will feel powerful and will do it again.

How is that Tan Sri (IGP) does not know about this. How is that the Malay Muslim MPs not know of the shouting at the sultan. Why isn't the Sedition Act invoked on Rosmah?
