Also please Note that we have CALLED OFF this donation drive as we already collected enough fund to bail out our dearest YM RPK and that was the purpose of this donation drive.

We will publish the details of the amounts collected and spend with proper records very soon.

As the donation still keep coming in even after we deleted the account number from MT,makes it tough to close the account .

Excess Money

We are receiving few different suggestions from many of you in terms of the excess money collected

1. To hold the money for future scenarios as it was a politically motivated donation

2. Go ahead with donation to charity.

3. Buy laptop and maintain/improve the webpage.

This matter will be discussed with RPK ,once he is back. We also like to thank you for writing in requesting to continue donation drive and to reinstate Paypal Logo back.,but we would like to stop it here for time being. RPK has agreed for this drive only after much of persuasion. Lets not divert from the purpose at this point of time.

We would like to apologize to the everybody who emailed to our administrator and to which we have not responded so far. Please take this posting as my personal reply to many of yours views,suggestions and concerns.

So we want updates from the admin regarding RPKs health & condition.

Maybe the admin could create a Forum possibly to occupy all who support and want the Free RPK campaign to succeed.

from the Hindraf experience,
we notice the BN was effective in shutting down the Hindraf website www.policewatchmalaysia.com/ .

We do not want such a thing to happen to malaysia today.Please take all precautions neccessary.

Though we support him, the Malay media has started rumour-mongering about RPK.

we want to see a video of RPK in Sungai Buloh prison stating that he doesn't want to meet anybody, and to say he is alright. We respect his decision for protest.

But one cannot help but doubt a statement coming from our "Tepat and Betul, Saya Anti Rasuah" Police that he doesn't want to meet anybody.

Please make arrangement for it.

Do update us on RPK daily if possible.

Do keep a lookout for comments whose intention is to sabotage MT. 1st they target RPK. 2nd they will come after MT. Easiest way is to post seditious comments and comments which mentioned killing someone, etc.

Do keep an email list of the regulars so that if MT is down, a second site could be set up just as quickly. Also, it would be a good idea that "Free RPK" is set up in another site in case anything happens to MT.

Just my 2 cents.

I suggest that the donation drive should go on until the case is over.
RPK needs the money to fight the case, for as long as it takes. Just having it to cover the bail money is short-sighted.

Once all is done and settled, then the remaining money can be donated to any charity organization of RPK's choice.

I am very worried for RPK. He must ensure he is in the best of health. Why is he on a hunger strike? He maintains his innocence, and that is admirable. But it's not likely that the authorities will revoke the charge as it is on sedition, and not detention under the ISA. They will not want to lose face. Is RPK thinking of martyring himself? God forbid! I would prefer that he live to fight on. He must come back. He must come out of prison to continue the fight. Heroes are better off alive than dead.

Civil society must be mobilised right now to rally to his cause and to exert pressure on the authorities to re-examine their action of charging RPK with sedition. Surely, everyone can see that the nation's security has not been threatened one bit by the posting of the article on the Altantuya case. Have the authorities been ill-advised? Of course, we must proceed with caution and not play into the hands of the law by transgressing legal bounds. Nonetheless, we the people must show our support for the man who has stood up for us.

Please convey this to RPK.

RPK - While I totally respect your actions in wanting to prove a point, I believe you languishing in prison for the next few months serves very little purpose, productively speaking.

While you are in, the powers-that-be will glee with joy. If you're out, then it's a different story.

We donated generously towards your cause because we want you OUT, not IN. If you had decided to stay in prison, then what was the point of the fund-raising?

You asked for RM1.00 per person to bail you out. We have far surpassed that, so why are you still being indignant and stubborn?

Why are you even refusing to see your wife? She needs your go-ahead as to the next course of action as far as your indictment is concerned.

Unless you have a specific strategy in mind in accomplishing what you want, then it's a different story.
