I’ve been reading Malaysia-Today in hope to get some information on the ‘Anwar Ibrahim’ tsunami storming in KDCA last night, but I think it didn’t get much of the attention in MT, or maybe I got lost and missed some entries regarding to it, yes that’s might probably be it.

I read much of the comments on some of the issue regarding the ‘lompat katak’ or defection of Sabahan MPs to the opposition. Well, here goes.

I kinda pissed off with some of the thinking by our fellow West Malaysian in Malaya. What?? Do you think we don’t want to see changes here in Sabah arr? Come on man, do you think we don’t want to get rid of those PTIs off from here arr? … Hello?? We are already outnumbered here.

I’m was referring to some of the dudes who have been in Sabah a few weeks ago and talking crap on the level of poverty here in Sabah. Do you think that was your fellow East Malaysian who sell cigarettes, sniffing glue, begging for money, roaming around and making troubles on the streets but not those illegal immigrants?

Just go to the handicraft market, well known as the Filipino market (who the hell give such authority to use that name?) and look carefully, do you or do you not see a local selling stuff there? Might have some locals but look with your clear brown eyes, do you know who controls the economy in this city, excluding the Chinese? Referring your fellow East Malaysian to them… man, that’s not us.

We have been voicing out issues regarding on this PTIs but still, there is no action taken by the main force. What happen to those ‘mulut murai’ politician? Why on earth that they keep on silent mode when it comes to this PTIs and more dangerously the ‘IC project’. But when it comes to money figures with those mega projects exceeding to billion dollars worth, waaa .. number 1 on the spot, saya laini numbur 1, of course.

My apologies to a fellow Malaysian from Sabah. A lot of us know that feeling; we ourselves here are just as eager to ditch a bunch of UMNO-ists from power ourselves. Thanks for the posting. Together we stand, divided we fall'

I remember loving everything about Kota Kinabalu some 20 years ago when I had to work there. Back then, the 'Filipino Market' was known as simply, "The Bazaar" and it was so unique and lovely.

10 years ago I went back to KK en route to the islands. I didn't like the atmosphere which reeked of neglect. I felt better when my family took a trip to Kota Belud. KK is indeed an endangered city. I fear that it will not be brought back to its past glory, but anything is possible, so, I pray that KK will be as charming and welcoming as it once was.

Hang in there fellow Malaysian in Sabah. Good things will happen, God willing.

Just you wait Sabahans, have some patience. The day is very near when all of us peace-loving rakyat of Malaysia will see the "after-effects" of the greatest March-8 political tsunami. When this day comes, Sabahans have full control of our destiny after getting rid of all those corrupted civil-servants & politicians who caused and allowed your society to be contaminated. Only then can Sabahans be proud again.

The only way to solve this Never ending problem is for Sabahans to call for a REFERENDUM and rethink this MALAYSIA AGREEMENT. We must work towards this and I hope the Feds would allow the Sabahans to determine their future via a REFERENDUM.

What this guy's articles mention is what the locals (those bumipturas, chinese, with legall I.C's) in Sabah really and I really mean desperately felt regarding on these phenomenon (perhaps worst). Project I.C's who can deliberately can own it by voting these BN candidates, proclaim he or she is Melayu (God, is Bugis also "Malay"), corrupted officers in Register Dept so on and so forth. People from west Malaysia. We have been talking for these for 3 decade nothing is change except this numbers of PTI or PATI ARE growing and growing. Statistically has already proven censures on 2005, and what the hell these BN Federal government (controling registar dept, Police, Soldiers etc) have come up with. Nothing. I SAID NOTHING!!!!.

Now they said candidates from Sabah are not loyal due to the potential cross-over to the Pakatan Rakyat. Heck what, serve you right you stupid BN's, might think we are Sabahans are stupid but again who's the most stupid.. Barking here and there, in TV, in the Parliament..No Action Talk Only...Well go ahead and "manja" your people back in the west and think again whose the one who contributes BN's win..NOW YOU ASK FOR IT.. YOU DAMN MOTHER****ERS!!!(i don't intend to use these word but i'm really pissed with the situation happen since the 80's till Now). I really2 hope somebody could notice us SABAHAN felt during these Dark Age...PS Don't dare bring these "Ketuanan Melayu" crap to Sabah..

The State Government of Sabah has no sense of direction,no political will and worse off deaf, dumb and blind. The Mayor of Kota Kinabalu rose to his present position simply because of his relationship with Musa Aman,PERIOD.Even his promotion as the Commissioner of Police before being appointed by Musa as the Mayor was negotiated during a golf game, included in the golf group was Pak Lah and Najib.

With his years of experience in the Police, the Mayor is still unable to resolve the presence of the PTI's in Kota Kinabalu. The People of Sabah including the politicians are fully aware of the huge presence of these PTI's at the Filipino market and the influx increases by the day,yet nothing is done to eradicate this.Instead it is being promoted by City Hall as a Tourism tool.

Try driving near the Filipino market any time of the day,you will be force to accelerate as slow as a bull-la-cart,simply because you are required to give way to the PTI's moving their carts filled with goods.A few Malaysians have tried to honk at these PTI's before, and it resulted in hostility.

A year ago, some friends of mind from France ask me,is Sabah part of the Philippines? This is the impression that most tourist have about Sabah. The CM and the Mayor are not too bother about this as long as they continue robbing the people. My opinion, get rid of the Mayor and CM first, next entrust the responsibility of administering the State and City to Pakatan Rakyat and I'm certain the problems of all these PTI's will be resolved.

yeah it's true... when i walked around, sometimes for a moment, i thought i was in indon or philipines or something! sigh.... it's that bad...

and not forgetting their crimes too...even tho we sabahans had made lots of noise but nothing has been done (for ages) and it become worst! (stupid govt!)

and also, the ketuanan melayu is already here & it's getting more & more serious! generally sabahans get along very well with each other & we seldom say like: i m a chinese sabahan or i m a kadazan sabahan.. not such thing, we just say we r sabahans and we r pround to be one....but now....sigh!

most of us(i dare boldy to say that) desparately wanted a change of govt too!

if you are in sabah, go around and talk to us in kopitiam or somewhere, most of the sabahans will tell u they think BN wins bcoz they cheated! this is the fact on the ground!!

so all u ppl, stop saying it serve us right bcoz we voted BN, it's not true, we are suffering here too!!!

I'm sorry borneopeteliew, the PTI problem that you are facing is not semenanjung's fault. Your big guns are the ones responsible for it. As for the enforcement agencies, while some are really corrupted, those who aren't had their hands tied due to these "big brothers". I'm writing from experience. (BTW I've resigned. Too much rot...)

I recall with nostalgia the Sabah of the mid to lates 80s when I was there.I went over when Sabah was just out of the riots that hit KK after the state elections. One can still see damaged, burned buildings and vehicle littering the place. In fact within a month of my stay there, an attempt was made to burn down my company's warehouse with molotov cocktails in town.It was curfew time after midnight for a number of years.I left in early 1990.

Without doubt, Sabah has been my favourite place of work since. Its people are the friendliest around, albeit at little anti West Malaysia.Illegal Philipinoes were even then very noticeable, especially along Gaya Street and the Sinsuran wet market.Street boys were the life of these areas.

Although I have not had the opportunity to make a visit to Sabah since I left, a close family member just recently went over to join a son working over there.KK is now very much a concrete jungle I am told.A modern, but sad state of affairs so it was said.

Since Sabah came under the rule of UMNO, the Sabahans has been played around with, exploited and manipulated no end.Local politicians were initially given some sweet tasting candy with promises of a rotating power sharing formula, to help smoothen the entry of UMNO to Sabah. What happened now? It was discarded by the Federal goverment at the earliest opportunity.

And since then, I can only sympathize with the local Sabahans, for what they have ended up since then has been nothing by rubbish from UMNO/BN politics. The sadder part is that it is done with the connivance of some local political strongmen, whose interest is definitely not that of the local Sabahans.

Sabahans must wake up from their own naivety, purge themselves of their corrupt local leaders, and face up to the UMNO/BN goverment to demand what is rightfully theirs.Unless and until they do so, they will not be 2nd, not 3rd or even 4th class citizens in this beautiful and paradisical The Land Below The Wind.Let that not happen.

Sabahans are not asleep, much have been written, equally much has been said and debated and many police reports have been submitted to the police and correct me if I am wrong, even to the International Court and yet these have been ignored.PBS tried to do the right thing at one time, with the support of Sabahans, except to be betrayed. In this case Sabah may be the first to feel the impact of this injustice, however, in the long run, this will affect the whole nation, irrespective of religion or colour. The reasoning is elementary. Either, the nation is protected as a nation or we will be left behind. Either we tap the cream of the crop, or we suffer.

This is really getting out of hand. With the Project M or Project IC, Sabah will be no longer belong to Malayia. It will be absorb by Indonesia or Philipines. We need to reverse Project M immediately. Maybe we need to hold protest banner when ever Badawi make a public speech. We need to bring this to the world attention just like Tibet case.

I believe that Project IC or "M" can happen or were allowed to happen due to the consent of the Kadazan and Dusun leaders themselves who betray their own people by being bought off with $$$ by UMNO during the planning years.

Dompok, Pairin, you folks have to answer to your own people, for what has become as Sabah soon to be displacing her own natives, with the natives who soon (if not already have) become the minorities.

Is it worth betraying your own peoples this way? How could Sabah be turn into this? Your peoples look up to you for hope and guiding light for they were hopeful for the future through your leadership.

Now, you answer to your peoples! You're not worthy of being leaders by allowing the gradual displacement of your peoples in Sabah in front of your very eyes, in this lifetime of yours!

Answer this to your people!

Wow, Sabah sounds like the wild wild east! I guess since Philippines is poor & weak, it wouldn't dare try to seize Sabah from Malaysia! The gov't shld make a real effort to send all the illegals packing incl those with MyKad courtesy of the previous administration. If they sneak back in the dead of the night, just shoot on sight, no questions asked.
