Resignation of Chua Soi Lek only logical and gentleman PDF Print E-mail

Zuraida Kamaruddin

Ketua Wanita Parti Keadilan Rakyat

KUALA LUMPUR 2 Jan - Referring to the latest scandal outburst committed by MCA Vice President Dr Chua Soi Lek adds on to the long list of immoral practices of the leaders in the BN government.

Wanita Keadilan on behalf of the Malaysian women demand Dr Chua Soi Lek to resign from his Minister of Health post. Chua has put the nation to shame and should be accountable for his act and resign. He is therefore not fit to earn the respect from the public especially so in the fraternity of the health ministry.

Women being the majority of hospital visitors do not tolerate the government's double standard practices on women caught in anti vice raids. In this Chua Soi Lek case, it is much the same and therefore he should be charged.

We also strongly urged that Prime Minister Dr Abdullah Badawi take a courageous stance to terminate Dr Chua Soi Lek service and take heed of the nation voice as a hint to reinforce his weak leadership.

We support the views of Professor Khoo and Umno Cheras Division Chief Senator Datuk Wira Syed Ali Alhabshee that demand for Chua Soi Lek resignation as logical and gentleman.

This is the nature of BN/MCA upper hand dirty leaders past time...they think with their dick more than their brain when given too much of immoral power, status, unbeliavble wealth, police immunity, business licenses, tenders, etc. Tis arrogant dirty horny 'old man is lucky coz he got PM to cover his asses when that 'ol dick runs amok among young sexy Ah Moi (God knows if she was underaged..guess tis is not important case for PRDM.).

Hell, I even heard there is one MCA leader in Johor that pulled out a pistol when the women's (while he was banging her night and day in his posh condo)husband tried to rescued her. How can tis politicians be given such open immunity and not to mentioned license firearms to prptect their immoral adultery.

Well folks....this is Boleh Land..dan semua nya BOLEH ! God save us all if BN comes to power for another next 5 years!!!!

There is this tendency among Malaysians to equate morality ONLY with sex. Why are some MPs so concerned about the costumes of airline stewardesses or girls wearing bikinis? or kissing scenes on TV?
What about corruption, lying and abuse of power?
Why is it OK for a Mentri Besar to carry a million ringgit illegally into another country?
Why is it OK for Bn to buy votes during elections?
Why is it OK for the PM to fly around the world with his family and friends on private holidays in a government owned jet?
Is it morally right for the PM to go on holiday when his country is hit by floods?
Is it OK for a Minister to give APs to her relatives?

Morality covers one a whole gamut of human behaviour, not just sex.

A few years ago a Taiwanese singer and politician, a SINGLE lady by the name of Chu Mei-Feng experienced the same ordeal. She was secretly filmed having sex with a married man. When she visited Malaysia after than ordeal on a singing tour, she was banned by Malaysia on the order from MCA from performing in Malaysia on the purpose that she may be a bad role model for Malaysians and malaysian youths at large. Now here we have a married minister who committed adultery in Malaysia and I ask the Malaysian Government, where are your morals now. The BN should state its stand otherwise stop preaching on morality issues, asking foreign artist who perform here to dress up, charging people who hold hand sin the parks, etc etc the list is long for me to mention here.

As much as I dislike Chua Soi Lek for messing up our healthcare system, in this case, I believe the person behind the video is a really nasty character. If he or she is a political competitor to Chua, I think MCA should keep Chua and make sure this bastard does not get into the political system. Such dirty tactic to bring down a person. Can you imagine how corrupted and what he/she can do if in power? May even be worse than those existing corrupted bastards. Better Chua than this bastard.

Also, Chua is very unfortunate to be exposed in his philandering. I bet you at least half the cabinet and politicians, as well as society do what Chua has done, including female politicians and female members of the society. Those who have sinned should not cast stones. It is just hypocritical. The French president has been taking his girlfriend all over the place and openly sharing a room with her. The French can't be bothered as long as he runs the country well. Even Badawi was bringing Jeanne all over the place before marriage. Don't tell me they were so good that they did not do what Chua did. I take the stand of the French instead of being a hypocrite.

he'll still be our healthy minister. Our PM is ok with everything. To the public... that's a minus point to MCA and BN.

Whoever did this by recording the sexual antics of the health minister was wrong...but he/she who this did Malaysians and the Malaysian health service a giant favour by getting rid of a character that virtually destroyed healthcare in this country.....and to the MMC (Nalaysian Medical Council....is that what they are called???)......should act quickly and strike his name off the records for infamous conduct .......after all Chua and his DG didnt have any qualms about doing it to an oncologist who at least was treating sick cancer patients.....

Some questions to ponder:
Did Chua Soi Lek regret his actions or regret that he got caught? I sincerely hope the former.

Was CSL asked to resign because the ministers think the action is morally wrong or because he got caught? I think the latter. The other "holier than thou" ministers are probably just smarter that CSL because they don't use the same hotel room again and again.

What do I think of the whole issue? Not new news. The Malaysia Cabinet has been screwing us in broad daylight and published in mass media etc, etc. The only thing different is CSL did that in private.

I totally disagree. Whether or not it's logical or gentlemanly is irrelevant.

The PM should detain him, the girl and every member of their immediate & extended family under the ISA so that they can be 'brutally' & "aggressively' interrogated to determine conclusively whether any 'DARK' secrets of the state discussed confidentially in weekly cabinet meetings have been passed to foreign sovereign nations through the satin sheets.Who is to say without such interrogation that the girl is not a highly trained foreign intelligence agent of Communist China or Nationalist China. The Minister of Health is the best source of information for a foreign powers' designs to eliminate the majority of the controlling race via topographical intoxicity.

It is therefore inconceivable of the IGP to be more interested only in the recording and/or distribution of the video clips. He should go deeper...very much deeper similar to what he did with the HINDRAF leaders. The government must be conclusive in its findings as the future of the Malay race is in question here and not just simply payback time between Team A & Team B.

Agreed with MaddieC.

It's a political assassination plot. Unfortunately, this victim have failed to avoid it. Well...you don't get lucky everyday. Felt sorry for him.

Also agreed with most that he have to resigned from his official post since this episode have gone public. He, being a Chinese, should hold to his moral and face value. Better to accept the truth than those political thick skinned bastard who have no shame. If he resigned as a gentlemen, I will still respect him as an ex-political leader. Luckly, he is not a Japanese, or the dagger await for his Hara Kiri.

Dear Dato Chua
I would like to say the following:
a. What you do is your private life which is quite a common thing among many malaysian politician. I remember many years ago, an UMNO senior minister was rumored to have been caught in bed with a woman at a hotel in PD by the religious dept. The entire event was said not to have taken place despite many says otherwise. Now he is even more senior than you. What you did is simply not acceptable because you are a leader of the country. But then come to thing about it, I believe the almost entire malaysian cabinet need to resign bases on morality ground which include sex, financial misappropriation, intergrity and others.

b. I congratulate for being outright and not wasting time in denying the issue like some other members of your cabinet. I salute you for your honesty and openness on the matter. I salute you on making a decision to resign. I wish other minister shows same level of integrity like you.

c.Like the famous saying.. in malaysia semua boleh.. as long as you dont get caught.

Resigning is the only thing he can do coz he was caught with his pants down (no escape door)but the way he apologised is not sincere. There is a smack of arrogance in it. This fella is a bloody hypocrite. Not long ago he preached abstinence to people but look at the example he is setting. The message he is sending is its ok to sleep around with other women instead of being faithful to ones wife. So keep your daughters away from these kind of ministers. adultery whether committed by a minister or an ordinary joe is equally wrong. Hmmm...... better check GHKL's viagra supply. MCA u r a party without morals lah!

Charge for what ?
Vice ?
Do you know the meaning of "vice" ?
How stupid can you be ?

This is the problem with PKR.
Only DSAI plus one or 2 others are smart enough to lead this nation.
However, he is mainly surrounded by sh*t!

That's the whole problem with our politicians and their wannabes....they just shoot off their mouth without thinking. If you want people to support u, at least talk sensibly. If you must open your mouth, make sure your head is tightly screwed on and not just shoot off like a loose cannon to gain political mileage.

As for our ex YB Datuk Seri Chua Sok Lek, stop blaming your political downfall on your political foes. You are your dumb sexual antics were your downfall. Stop blaming the press, too. Gosh, it's not a case of the pen being mightier than the sword.....it was your PENis that did u in. Your arrogance and condescending attitude makes me want to puke. You cheated on your wife and children and you have the cheek to try to justify your actions....they have to live with your adultery/immorality and bear the stigma of shame all their lives through no fault of theirs. U think you are a stud, pleaselah, your are 60 yrs old old man. If I were u, I would leave quietly in shame and probably disappear from Malaysia, if possible....forever and let you family pick up the pieces of their lives and start anew.....without your "personal friend", of course!

"Resignation of Chua Soi Lek only logical and gentleman"
He didn't resign like a gentleman....it was forced on him to the right thing especially since it would not look good on the BN govt in the coming election with a candidate caught with his pants down.....women voters are the determining force and no woman will support an adulterer unless she is "Angelina Yam", the personal friend!
