The PEOPLE'S VOICE and the PEOPLE'S DECLARATION were officially launched today, 23 February 2008, at the Blog House in Bukit Damansara. Six political parties -- DAP, PAS, PKR, MDP, PSM and Pasok -- endorsed the Declaration and promised to adopt it as part of their 2008 Election Manifestos. They also announced that the election will be a straight fight between Barisan Nasional and Barisan Rakyat.

advertising thru the screen is such a important tool for this election
and being denied that privilege thru the media certainly is not a level playing field for the opposition.
Oppositon parties you need to advertise on the screen equal amount of time at least in comparison to the BN.
Barisan Rakyat and individuals who support Barisan Rakyat advertise via screen it is our vital tool. Flags etc can only do so much.

Let us all as individuals do our part to get the message out to get as many opposition candidates as possible elected to the federal parliament and state assemblies. Let us convince our friends and others we meet on why they should vote for the opposition. Send out e-amils and wherever possible communicate in person. Act now and communicate with the voters.

I am really, really worried that a few bombs might go off and the blame is shifted to Pas, or some other Islamic militants. Remember's Dr Mahathir Mohamad's Kg Medan, and another Mamak Special called the Korporal adam incident back in the 80s? (what happened to this story?)

Penangites, time to wake up and send BN packing this coming election.Do not be taking in by short term goodies given out by beggars( MCA & Gerakan)and suffer for another 5 years.

To wipe out BN is the responsibility of all voters and Malaysia is owned by Malaysians and not BN !

All we get to know about that incident in Chow Kit was that the man was called Private adam, an army deserter who shot a Chinese businessman in the Chow Kit area in 1987, and despite this, he was overpowered by a General (same story in Grik - Al Maunah, years later).

This Mamak Special was topped ABC-style with Operation Lalang.

But even when this happens again, Khairy & Co will have the full backing of his British masters.

Now the path has been cleared. All "Ethinic Malaysians",
worth the salt in his blood, must vote the opposition.
This we should do if we are genuine and true that we are
seeking freedom of the press, freedom of the judiciary,
free and fair elections, Islam as the official religion
without snatching bodies and forced or backdoor conversions.

I LIKE TO CALL UPON THE BARISAN RAKYAT, UPON WINNING THE
ELECTION 2008, TO SCRAP OUR PRESENT PDRM POLICE FORCE AND
FORM AFRESH, "THE PRDRM" (POLICE RAKYAT DI RAJA MALAYSIA"

We have passed an important milestone - The political parties opposed to the UMNO regime have come together and endorsed the People's Declaration and promised to adopt it as part of their manifesto.

Now, can they take the next important step and come out with a Common Manifesto? That will be such a powerful statement and will go down so well with the rakyat.

One more thing they could do is to adopt a common Barisan Rakyat banner and drum home the message that BR includes all of the parties involved and that the rakyat can confidently place their X against any of the party logos.

Better yet, all BR ceramah to be attended by representative of all the parties involved in that area. (I think this is already happening, yes?)

This is really becoming exciting. The tsunami is building up.

Onward Kuasa Rakyat!

Just looking at the photographs put a smile on my face. They are beautiful people with one common cause. My love goes out to all in the photos above and to all who support the one common cause.

My mum up in Kedah is still rather nervous about my speaking against BN/UMNO. She registered me as an UMNO member when I was young, I never participated in anything political in the past. Today, however, I attended the BR People's Declaration launch and I am so happy that I did.

A few times during the short event and particularly when Cikgu Bad and Dr Mariah spoke, I felt lumps in my throat and if not for fear of being ridiculed by my daughter, I held back the tears. Actually, I normally cry when I'm elated. I only normally cry these days when I acknowledge God's kind gestures to me. I thank God for BR. I thank God that the DAP, PKR, PAS, MDP, PSM, Pasok are united to go against the BN. I thank God that the path towards a better tomorrow for all Malaysians has been shown.

I am very happy to see that the BR parties have a united front. BR's credibility is at its peak based on what I witnessed today. I will contribute in my own ways and one of it is to continue to earnestly pray to God that BR will excel in the upcoming elections, God Willing!

Now that the People's Voice is going to be heard... Malaysian politics is in safe hands.
Safe Hands in that politics has become family political business!!!
If any blogger has the time can you please put together politicians with family ambitions and display it around the country?
This format will be suitable.
Start with KJ
1 KJ - SIL of Prime Minister
2 Najib - Son of prime minister Tun Razak
Cousin of Keris Hish
Nephew of prime minister Tun Hussein
3 Keris Hish - Son of prime minister Tun Hussein
Cousin of Najib
Nephew of Tun Razak
and so on
.. DSAI has two members standing as candidates - Wife and daughter

Malaysia is in safe hands.

I see its a mixed crwod of Malays, Chinese Indians etc.....
Its good....very good to know that Barisan Rakyat can also boast that it is a body made up of MALAYSIANS with a common objective to put this contry together again for the common good of all.
And what's more, unlike the BN horde which is made up of kampong venturers who make it big in politics, BR is a body of learned individuals....VERY BRAVE ORDINARY PEOPLE WHO DARE TO STICK THEIR HE*** UP.
I hope their thirst to do battle with that evil horde will be a battle of victory for them. Come election day, many malaysians will ink wisely with their effort in mind.

Come...there are much much more we must do together....
